Yu Yu Hakusho Fan Fiction ❯ Taking Care Of Yoko ❯ Chapter 7 ( Chapter 7 )
[ P - Pre-Teen ]
KS: Okay, for the past few days I've been busy as hell and I have to stay after school to do fifteen different things, so I'm sorry I haven't updated. But also, I have been trying to draw a picture for this story and I can't. So I'm not that happy. Okay, well thanks for reviewing it means so much to me.

Well, it seemed like all the madness was over this day. And Kori wasn't quite sure if she could deal with another day of this. Let alone... well, Koenma had never said when Yoko would change.
Kori stretched out on the couch, it was quite comfortable, but it was nothing like back in Makai. Everyone was in different rooms even Yoko, who she had to persuade to stay in that room and it took a few songs and a couple of strands of her hair to do that.
But she know could relax and think. So that was worth the strands of hair, since she never minded singing. Her breath got shorter and with that she fell asleep.

Kori's blue eyes opened wide. She should've known that she couldn't get a good nights sleep. But what in the hell was resting on her stomach? She sat up and watched a small Yoko tumble off her stomach and onto her legs, gold eyes bright and playful.
"Oh Kami," she muttered. "Yoko, I thought I already explained this to you. You stay in the bed upstairs, while I stay down here. Then, we both go to sleep."
Yoko shook his head "no".
Kori let a little growl escape through her clenched teeth. "What the hell do you expect to do then?"
Right then, he decided to yank her hair and run. "Oh, I'm going to kill you," Kori stated. She rolled off the couch and landed with a 'thud'. "Baka."
She sniffed the air and crawled into the next room. "I can't believe I've degraded myself to crawling." She stood up and walked into the kitchen. Just like she expected, the sliding door was open. She gave a small growl and walked out. Too bad she wasn't ready for the frezzing air. "Kami," she whispered, and started to take a step back but when she saw the silver tail, she remembered what she was here for. "Yoko, you are dead when I gert my hands on you."
She walked over to the small garden where she saw the tail and grabbed the small child up by his clothes and headed toward the house.

Kori tucked Yoko under the blankets. "Now, you're not going to leave this bed, got that?" Kori stated.
Yoko smiled, nodded, and out of nowhere he pulled out a red rose and pressed it in her hand. She blinked as Yoko pulled up the blanket and went to wrap it around Kori. Kori hugged Yoko to her chest and kissed the top of his head, anf feel asleepa few minutes later.
Yoko smiled and pressed himself closer to the kitsune, and fell into a deep sleep.
