Princess? "Hey, let me go!" She tried to jerk her arms out of his hands.
"Sorry, my little Angel, but no," he said. His voice sounded serious. What was this all about?
This was as the boy reached into his pocket to get something. A weapon? Hiei’s hand had, instinctively, gone towards his own sword but waited, suspicious.
Wait a minute... Was that...? "I think you have me confused with someone else," she said with a weak smile, turning her head a bit.
"Oh c'mon Sylvia. Don't act that way," he said to her. "Least not until you see the ring. You left before I could propose."
"My name isn't Sylvia. Let go of me," she said.
Propose? Huh. No wonder she ran. "Imbecile," he remarked dryly.
The man blinked when he looked up at her, now actually seeing her face. "Oh, sorry." He let her go before backing off, clearly embarrassed. "You looked like my Sylvia," he said, sadly before leaving the two and pocketing the black box.
"Poor guy, wish I could help," she said before looking at Hiei.
"No," he said sternly. He wasn't going to help a ningen find his girl. It was pointless.
"Fine, where’s my sister?" She made a mental note to check on him later on and see if he found her yet. He hadn't seemed to look for her, even through that ordeal.
"On top of the school, Sarayashiki High," the demon informed her before disappearing. No amount of sympathy was going to make him help that damned ningen. He didn't care if the guy lost his girl in a car wreck, let alone fell down a drain and was stuck because of a broken leg.She sighed and turned the pendant once more, the silver side showing. Her wings came back and she was now invisible to the eye. She took off, heading towards the school.

Well, yea... I guess... -shrugs- Ok, I kinda edited this one. It was bugging the hell outta me cause I saw an episode with Hiei and everything he normally did came back to me and I thought about this and was kinda… Blegh… I gotta change that! So out of character. Completely. Sorry guys. Much of this hasn’t changed but I edited Hiei’s part a bit. Oh and thanks bookworm but I’m guessing you haven’t read it correctly or something because there is a hint to why he helped her so early. It’s not obvious, though. Ok? Stick with this and it’ll be clearer later on. I realize what Hiei would have been at this point. Believe me, I’m better at role-playing than a damn fic but I’m giving it a shot here. Well, gotta go. I gotta get my shit done. Heh.
