Sour Lemons

Kurama wiped the tears from Daria's cheek. She turned away from him, not wanting to make eye contact.

"Look at me" Kurama said, placing his hand on Daria's cheek and swiveling her head toward him, kissing her softly to reassure her. Then, he whispered, "There is nothing you can say to make me stop loving you."

There was a brief silence, and then Kurama said, "So, Jason really meant something to you, didn't he?" Daria nodded and said, "Any other questions?"

"Yes. This may seem odd but, how old are you anyway?"

"That is a difficult question, with a complicated answer. I'll try and explain it the best I can. You see, my human body is only fourteen, but my other form is ancient."

"Oh, yes. That brings up another question. How is it that you can transform into a tiger?" Kurama asked with interest.

"I have within me, a symbient. It gives me my power and helps me transform into a tiger. You see, on our planet, the symbient is implanted into the rightful heir to the throne when she turns thirteen. They believe that is when she becomes a woman, so a ritual is held where the shaman removes the symbient from the mother a puts it in the daughter. The powers are transfused to the new queen, essentially killing the old one," Finished Daria. Just then a sharp beeping sound whistled through the air.

"What is that?" asked Daria, covering her ears.

"Relax, it's just my communicator. It is probably just Hiei wondering where I am." Kurama said, taking out a small compact and opening it. A picture of a man appeared. He wore black clothes that matched his black spiky hair. He looked mean.

"Where are you?" The man questioned, "I've been looking for you for hours. When did you go?" The man began mumbling angrily about a Koenma sending them to find a strange plant and something about gone all night and day. He then said, a little louder, "Where the hell are you?"

"Calm down Hiei. I'm fine. I'm in a hut right now. There is someone I'd like you to meet. Her name is Daria, and she is going to give you directions to her hut." Kurama said, handing Daria the compact.

"Where are you in the forest? I need to know where you are so I can tell you which way to go."

"I'm by a small stream. There is a large mossy rock right in the middle of it. Does that help?" Hiei replied.

"Yes. You are very close to my sister's cabin. It would be much easier for you to go there. Is that all right?"

"Fine, whatever." Hiei snarled.

"Good. Now just go one click east of the river. The cabin will have a large blue bush in front. Kurama and I will be over there soon." Daria said. She snapped the communicator shut, and then said, "Let's go Kurama. Hiei is expecting us."

"I'm in no hurry." Kurama said, raising a suggestive eyebrow.

"Again?" Daria asked, slyly.

"Ladies first." He said, extending and arm toward the cot on the floor. Daria giggled as she climbed in.

Using his lightning speed, Hiei got through the forest in no time. He stopped when he saw a tiny secluded cabin. It was made of logs and a concrete like substance Hiei didn't recognize. The spiky haired demon walked up to the door and knocked. He waited, and began to get impatient. He hadn't come all this was to be forced to wait for some silly little girl.

Hiei turned the knob and pushed the door open. The room empty, but he noticed a door off to the side. It was slightly ajar. Hiei walked over to it and pushed it open. A wondrous sight met his eyes. A beautiful young woman stood in the middle of the room, completely naked. Hiei's jaw dropped in awe at her sheer beauty. The woman looked up and screamed. She quickly slipped on the robe she was holding. I'm in love, he thought before everything went black.

When Hiei awoke, he realized he was tied to a chair. The woman, now fully dressed, stood there, waiting for him.

"Who are you?" She said sternly.

"My name is Hiei. I was sent here by your sister, Daria. I didn't…" He was about to say, before Phoebe cut him off.

"Why did she send you here and not to her own cabin?" She demanded.

"She said I was closer to yours. She will be over here soon with Kurama."

"Who is this Kurama?"

"He is an old ally of mine…" Hiei drifted off, giving Phoebe a strange look.

"What are you looking at?" She snapped.

"Oh nothing-it's just being tied up like this, and you glaring at me. It's kindof erotic." He said with a smirk. Phoebe gave him a disgusted look, but was even more repulsed to discover that she felt the same.

Just then, there was a knock at the door. Phoebe walked over and opened the door. Daria was there, with another man Phoebe didn't recognize. This must be Kurama, she thought to herself.

As Kurama stepped inside, he noticed Hiei tied to a chair. "What are you doing? Hiei is a friend!"

"So he wasn't lying. You did send this pint-sized pervert to my cabin." Phoebe scoffed.

"What are you talking about?" Kurama asked, giving Phoebe a puzzled look.

"HE walked in on me while I was changing clothes!" Phoebe shrieked. Kurama chuckled.

"Well, I'm sure he didn't do it on purpose."

"Uh, fine, you may untie the prisoner." Kurama walked over to Hiei and started to undo the knots. Phoebe said to Daria, "Can I see you in the other room for a moment?"

"Sure." Daria said, stepping into Phoebe's bedroom, closing the door behind them.

When Kurama was done untying Hiei, he asked "What happened?"

"I followed Daria's directions, for the last time, and arrived here. I knocked and waited for an eternity, so I decided to go in. I walked in, saw another door, pushed that open and found a screaming little girl on the other side. Next thing I know, I'm on the ground, unconscious." Hiei paused as Kurama started laughing. He then asked, "So, what's up with you and Daria?"

"My personal life is really none of your concern, Hiei." Kurama said, suddenly serious.

"Personal life? You boffed her, didn't you Kurama?" Hiei snickered.

"You best shut your mouth Hiei, before I get out my Rose Whip."

In the next room, Phoebe and Daria were arguing.

"You and Kurama did WHAT?" screamed Phoebe.

"Well, it's like I said. When I saw him I thought he was pretty damn hot, and when we kissed, I just gave in." Daria explained.

"But you told Jason he had to wait until the wedding, and you knew him all your life! Then you just go and give it away to some guy you just met?" Phoebe said, still screaming.

"I don't regret it, and if you're going to be a bitch about it, I'm leaving!" Daria stormed out of the room, grabbing Kurama's arm and dragging him out of the cabin, while completely forgetting about Hiei.

"Looks like it's just you and me, cactus head," Said Phoebe.

"Don't think this gives me any pleasure." Hiei sneered. After a pause, Phoebe said, "Can I ask you something?"

"Might as well."

"Did you like it?"

"Like what?"

"Earlier, you know, it," Said Phoebe, a small smile forming on her face.

"Oh, that, hated it." Hiei lied. Phoebe looked at him suspiciously. She could feel the tension in the room.

"So I guess you would hate it if I did this…" Phoebe leapt at Hiei and stuck her tongue down his throat. He was completely surprised at first, but then decided to just go with it. He returned the kiss and proceeded to run his hand up her thigh. Phoebe ran her fingers through Hiei's black hair, as he removed her robes with one lightning fast motion. Phoebe countered by ripping off his shirt. They both began walking toward the bed, whilst snogging away. Phoebe shoved Hiei down on the cot as he removed the rest of his not essential clothing. She grinned devilishly and jumped between the sheets. Hiei proceeded to bite Phoebe's lip as she licked his cheek. She suddenly, (I'm not going to give you all the details. This is rated PG-13. Don't give me that look! I'm sorry, my hands are tied. Okay, maybe just a little more, but be warned, this is pretty X rated!)

She suddenly wrapped her legs around Hiei. In return, he rolled his tongue in her mouth as they both battled to be on top. Phoebe kissed his neck just as she began to orga…and that's where I'll stop.

Back at Daria's hut, Kurama and Daria were lying in bed, talking.

"I just can't believe we forgot Hiei," Said Daria. "I hope she doesn't kill him."

"Why would she do that?" Kurama wondered.

"Well, I heard Hiei thinking some pretty raunchy thoughts about Phoebe. If he tries to make a move on her, there's no telling what will happen."

"No, there's certainly no telling," Said Kurama, wrapping a comforting arm around Daria as they drifted off to sleep.
