I felt a tear drop down my cheek and I quickly wiped it off my face. I took out the photo and tucked it into my pocket. I walked out the door and ran to the forest where the smoke was coming from.

 

“Now where are you going?”

 

 

 

I jump at the voice and look to see a smirking Hiei.

 

“are you some kind of stalker or something?”

 

“what did you place in your pocket?”

 

In one second he has the picture in his hands and I start getting angry. He smirks at the picture.

 

“Is this you? You have an older brother and sister? Here.”

 

He hands it to me and I snatch it harshly out of his hands.

 

“now leave me alone.”

 

“no Koenma told me not to let you out of my sight.”

 

“what.... that baby is going to hear it from me, after I finish my business.”

 

“and that is?”

 

“-smirk- Wait and see.”

 

We arrive at the camp and children lay all around the fire either drunk, high, hug over, or dead. Someone grabs my ass and I take out my switch blade and strike the boy's neck.

 

“don't touch me!!”

 

“you just killed a human. Koenma's gonna lock you up.”

 

“he has no idea off this place so it doesn't count. LISTEN UP YOU LITTLE BRATS!!! SEE THIS HERE!!!”

 

I hold up the dead boy's body in front of them and they all start to whisper `nightmare'.

 

“THAT'S RIGHT I'M BACK AND I EXPECT TO FIND OUT WHICH ONE OF YOU LITTLE BRATS WENT INTO MY HOUSE AND TOTALED IT!!”

 

A young girl around my age comes up to you drunk and pushes me back.

 

“Now I know you ain't -hic- `The Nightmare' because -hic- she didn't kill me, her, her, and him when we went to her house.”

 

“Think again.”

 

I kill her and the kids she pointed at and glare at the rest.

 

“LET THAT BE AN EXAMPLE. STAY AWAY FROM MY HOUSE.”

 

I walk out of the site and back into the forest.

 

“KOENMA'S GONNA KILL YOU, JUST HOW STUPID ARE YOU TO GET YOURSELF DEAD BECAUSE OF PATHETIC HUMAN LIKE THAT!!!”

 

“WHY THE HELL DO YOU EVEN CARE!?!”

 

“BECAUSE I-“

 

“YOU WHAT! YOU HATE ME, YOU WANT TO KILL ME YOURSELF, WHAT IS IT!!”

 

“I DON'T KNOW YOU BAKA ONNA!!!”

 

“IF YOU WANT TO KILL ME JUST DO IT I HAVE NOTHING ELSE TO LIVE FOR-“

 

He pulls me close to him and forcefully kisses me. I was shocked at first but close my eyes and start to kiss him back. I push him away after I finally realize what I'm doing and run.

 

What just happened........? Did he... no, not possible.....

 

I ran back to the house and lock the doors and jump into a shadowy corner.

“Alex!!! Where are you?”

 

Yusuke stands up from his chair and grabs a glass of juice.

 

“It's three already and she never came back since we left her? Lets go find the others first.”

 

“ok, but let's hurry.”

 

“Yusuke, Kuwabara, Emily, what's going on?”

 

“It's Alex, we can't find her. Hiei, is he here?”

 

“yes, but my mother is home so we should talk about this in my room.”

 

“just as long as we find her.”

 

“then lets talk to Hiei I think he was the last to leave, he might know something.”

 

“what do you bakas mean she hasn't come back?”

 

“I think..... I know where she is, get us a portal.”

 

Yusuke looks around.

 

“whose house is this?”

 

“Her's, I've only been here once and it was neater... some looters must have been stupid enough to come and mess it up.”

 

Everybody of course heard someone upstairs throwing stuff around. They quickly run up the stairs careful not to trip over anything during the process and they open the door slightly enough for them to see me throwing a twin bed to a wall and I finally fall to my knees exhausted.

 

“I just couldn't have died with them..... well this sucks. -laugh- I'm acting pathetic. Emily..... I never came back..... oh well... I might as well go back and help her. She owes me big time for...... -sigh- I wonder how Hiei might feel.... He's gotta hate me about yesterday....”

 

Everyone immediately looks towards Hiei, who's having difficulty trying not to blush.

 

I sit down and lean my back to the wall and take out the picture. I look at it and stand up.

 

“Ms. Green.... DAMMIT!”

 

I kick the window out of the wall and jump out side. The picture falls from my pocket and lands on the floor. Hiei quickly runs to pick it up but Kurama manages to grab his ankle and Yusuke ends up picking it up instead.

 

“she looks...... happy.”

 

“ -gasp- Is that her family? She has an older sister and an older brother?”

 

“She doesn't really seem like the type to smile let alone laugh.”

 

Two low growls fill the room and catches everyone off guard. Out of nowhere without a sound a white greyhound dog appears behind them and in front of them a black husky. At the window a brown falcon appears and goes away.

 

“I don't think they'll attack if we don't shout or anything.”

 

Kuwabara stands up and shouts.

 

“HEY YOU STUPID DOGS GET OUT OF OUR WAY!!”
