~Dream sequence~

a young girl was playing in the halls of a beautiful palace. She stops in front of a golden statue, the statue’s head looks down at her and smiles. The little girl smiles back at the statue and says “hi Daphne” and then walks off.

~End sequence~

a little girl at the age of 6 years wakes up from her dream very confused this wasn’t the first time she had a dream like that, but shakes it off, gets dressed and goes downstairs. she then goes to the diningroom and greets her mother with a hug and kiss and says “good morning mama”. The woman looks down at her daughter smiles and says”good morning Jade “ ”did you sleep well?” she asked her daughter.

 “Not really” Jade replied as she greeted her father who was reading the news paper “I had that strange dream again mama and it was very weird this time” then she started to tell her parents about her dream. Jillian looked thoughtful for a moment and said “maybe your dreams are trying to tell you something”. Jade thought that that over as she ate her breakfast ‘maybe mama’s right, my dreams just might be trying to tell me something, but...what is it?’ she thought. She continued to think about that until her mom told her to go outside and enjoy the day

Wile she was walking down the street towards the park, she ran into the leader of the school bullies ‘great’ she thought sarcastically as bullies turned to look at who had bumped into there leader. When they see Jade they just smirk and say “well, well, well what do we have here...”. Jade didn’t give them time to finish there sentence because she turned and ran for her life. “Damn it all” the leader said and chased after her with his gang behind him.

Across the street a 6 year old boy with rose red hair and forest green eyes ( bet you know who it is) see’s what happened and runs over to help her “Don’t your know its not nice to bully young girls” he said as he steps between the girl and the bullies. the leader looks at the boy and pales a bit and looks at his gang, they all look at the boy and go “...see ya” and run off not wanting to get in trouble with him (its not that they were afraid of him its just...who in there right mind would piss off a fan club! none the less his fan club!). When they were gone the boy then turned to Jade and asked “are you alright?”.

Jade looks up at him and immediately recognized him as the kid with the fan club “yea I’m ok thanks Suuichi” Jade said . Suuichi smiled at her and said “your welcome Jade” realizing who she is and that she gets in trouble with the school bullies almost every day but then he frowned at that thought ‘something is not right’ he thought ‘she always gets in trouble very easily but, she can also get herself out of trouble just as easily’ Suuichi looks at Jade with a questioned look on his face “is there something wrong Jade? You don’t seem yourself today” he asks her “no not really” she said with a fake smile on her face ‘I won’t tell him about my dreams just yet’ she thought. Suuichi sighed and said “you know your not a very good liar Jade”.

She sweatdropped at that sighed and then said “ok I’ll tell you but you have to keep it a secret ok, I don’t want anyone to know about this” Suuichi nodded and led her to a private place in the park, sat her down on one of the benches and said “ok tell me what’s wrong”. Jade then told him everything, what had happened in her dreams and what she was worried would happen in the future.

Suuichi toke in all of the information and looked thoughtful for a moment ‘I might just have to tell her my secret so she can understand what’s going on’ he thought. Jade started to fidget a bit ‘he must think I’m nuts’ she thought “um..Suuichi are you ok?” she asked Suuichi jumped a little and said “yes I’m ok sorry about that” Jade smiled and said “its ok you don’t have to apologize I have been zoning out a lot to”.

He gave a small smile at that then got a very serious look on his face and said “what I’m about to tell you, you absolutely can not tell anyone elts understand” Jade gave a small nod extremely scared by the look on his face.

Suuichi then told her every thing about his past, who he was, and how he came to look like he does now. Jade just stared at him ‘wow and I thought I had problems ‘she thought “so... your real name is...what?” she asked. Suuichi sighed ‘she doesn’t believe me’ he thought sadly “my real name was Youko Kurama” he said. “Ok then, and how does you being a demon fall under the same category as my dreams?” she asked.

(I will be calling Suuichi, Kurama from now on ok) Kurama blinked for a second “so you believe me then?” he asked “of corse you silly I’ve know about demons for a long time” Jade said like it was the most natural thing in the world. This caused him to blink a few times “how...?” he asked. Jade blinked once and said “oh” she laughed “ I’m sorry I forgot to tell you, you see I found this book that belonged to my great grandmother and it had all this stuff about demons and demon world”. Kurama laughed a little and said “well that explains a lot “. “yea it does doesn’t it” she said laughing. “so are you going to answer my question?”she asked, “oh I’m so sorry” Kurama apologized. “Don’t apologize just answer me” Jade said “alright” he said. Then for the rest of the day they just sat on that bench and talked about what they know about demons, demon world, and what they had in common with Jades dreams.
