Title: The Strength to Overcome

Chapter 2:

Akara was very surprised at who she saw. "It can't be.He isn't real." Akara murmured under her breath. Suddenly, Akara felt a pain in her head and she would have fell down, but Hiei kept her from falling. He then used his jagan to kill the demon that hit Akara on the back of the head. Hiei then picked Akara up bridal-style and ran away from the scene. Akara remembered the warmth she felt when she was in his arms before she succumbed to the darkness that welcomes her with opened arms.

Akara woke to find her head was very painful to lift up and her eye lids were too heavy to open. Akara groaned and tried to get up but the pain was too much and she fell back down on the futon she was on. Akara then heard a light tapping coming from her right and when Akara didn't answer, the person let herself in. Akara heard the person make a way towards the futon she was on and was still quiet. A warm glow eminated from the person hands as she began to heal Akara. Akara felt the pain receeding and finally opened her eyes. She looked around and was met by a pair of eyes. "I see you're awake. I am Yukina. It's nice to meet you." Yukina said and bowed. "I'm Akara and it's nice to meet you too.Um.Where am I?" Akara asked as she stood up and walked around the room, looking at her surroundings. She was in a formal Japanese room with the sliding doors and all. There was a futon in the corner which Akara was on not even a few minutes ago and a small desk and a dresser on the other side of the room. "You are at Genkai's Temple" Yukina said and began to worry when Akara collapsed to the floor in shock."I'm.I'm at Genkai's Temple." Then Akara began to laugh "This has got to be a dream! My mother finally got fed up with me and sent me to a mental Asylum."Akara said and jumped when a voice came from behind her. "Don't fool yourself onna, this isn't a dream." Akara turned and was face to face with Hiei. Akara turned red and turned back to Yukina. "Can I go walk around? Is Kurama here?" Akara asked and Yukina's face became surprised while Hiei's eyes narrowed. "How do you know the kitsune?" Hiei asked suspiciously. "I just do."Akara answered softly and left the room on her own, searching for her second favorite anime character so she might get some answers on why she was here. Finally she spotted him in a field of flowers in the back of Genkai's temple. "Oi, Kurama!" Akara called and Kurama turned, startled. "Can I help you.Oh.You must be the girl Hiei found." Kurama said and blushed, realizing his own stupidity. "I'm Akara. I have some business to discuss with you.
