~Chapter 1: Things that cannot be helped~

Always running….
She had no time to stop, no time for friendship, no time for love. She didn’t believe in love, it was non-existant, a waste of time. Even if she did love, it would only be one thing…stealing.
That would be her only love. It provided excitement, excitement she could find no other way. The adrenaline that it gave her is the reason she kept it up. She was a master theif, the best after Youko Kurama disappeared and she knew this. She prided her anonymous name. She was known, yet invisible. No one knew who she was, what she looked like, or where she hid whenever she wasn’t stealing something. Yet people and demons alike knew she was out there. She did have a few rules though. For instance she would only steal certain items. Items that were said to be impossible to get, extremely rare, or just ones that peaked her interest, those were the only things she would take. However, there was one place left to hit…. King Yama’s (I always get confused as to whether its Yama or Enma…oh well).
Inside lay the Crystal of Elements, the only one of its kind. With it she could control any elemental power and bend it to her will. Also laying inside were the four Spirit detectives, three of which she knew where they lived. So, she carefully devised a plan, and struck on the night of the new moon when it was dark and also when the mighty king and the detectives were absent. She crept in the shadows and somehow made her way to the roof. From there she made a small hole and went inside, landing in the ventilation system. She had spent months studying the blueprints of the castle (where she got them I don’t know) so she navigated through with ease. When she finally came out, she landed in a passageway that was closest to her goal yet gave her the easiest access back to the ventilation system.. She wasted no time and swiftly made her way to the vault room. Once there she went to the vault and used the combination (that took her quite a while to get) and opened it. She looked for her target and found it in a matter of minutes. She put it in her pocket and got out, resisting the allure of all the other countless treasures in there. She closed the vault, made her way back to the roof, and fixed the hole she made. Then she jumped down and retraced her steps all the way to where she had been earlier that day before disappearing through a portal, leaving no trace behind……..

So what’d you think of it so far? It kinda sucks in my opinion but it is my very first after all. The name of this theif will be said in a later chapter, so don’t worry. Anyways, I think all the chapters will be short so please don’t get angry if one of these isn’t quite as long as you like. Bye for now.
