it's just a little trick
some kind of slight of hand
rummors of her death
had spread throughout the land
yet on this poster he had found
her face so clearly shown
the friend he'd told to run
a friend left scared and alone
supposedly gone forever
to never be seen again
a life taken away
by the sheer greed of men
he walked into the tent
saw her face so cold and pale
this old friend of his
whose life itself would soon fail
she'd been beaten and cut
bloody and struck
he shed a teir
over her gruesome luck
everyone laughed
children pointed and screamed
they poked her and hit her
for hours it seemed
"you never came back." she said
"i'm sorry, i lied."
but he was to late
she finaly died.
