Chapter Six

Night

Me: This is a short chapter. Blah.

Kurama: …

Me: What?!

Kurama: Can I respond to the reviewers?

Me: Sure, when I'm done.

Hiei: Hn.

Kurama + Me: How'd you get here?!

The end of another day. You are so pooped it isn't funny. Hiei is glad it's over. It's been hell for him.

He goes into the bathroom and locks the door. You wait.

And wait…

And wait…

But he still doesn't come out. Finally, Kurama marches in and drags Hiei out, who is crying over his lost hair. You laugh. He looks so funny, being dragged out by the hand, lying on the floor, his other hand covering his bald head.

He whimpers, then skulks up to his bed, looking over his shoulder and hissing evilly at the both of you.

Yes, hissing.

Kurama's got some very nice pajamas, with little roses all over them. Yours is white. Okay… compared to his floral print, you're nothing. Well, Hiei's worse. A comforting thought that you aren't the worst dresser in the room.

Yusuke… Well, he's still in his clothes.

You flick the light of, and everything is silent, except for Hiei sniffling away, until there is a loud THUD, and an "Ow!"

You guess Kurama kicked his bed. There is silence again.

But you can't sleep. The bed is itchy. Oh, poo.

Yeah. Leave the nice beds to the boys who will probably end up on the floor anyway.

At about 3:00 am, you are still awake. So are Kurama and Hiei. You can hear their breathing. It isn't soft, like a sleeper's. It's normal.

"What are they up for?" you wonder. You slow your own breath so they think you're asleep. They fall for it.

Suddenly, they burst into conversation. They don't stop. They sound like the buttonquail you once raised back at your home.

Button Quail were tiny little birds that talked to themselves. And BOY, they were loud!

And so, they (the boys) talked about everything, from South America to office supplies to heat. You made a mental list of everything they `conversated' about:

Doorknobs

South America

Armadillos

Heat

Yusuke

Linkin Park

Paper clips

Office Supplies

Girls

Doorknobs

Fiji

It was a long list. You couldn't take it anymore. It was like they had been waiting until you were `asleep' to chat.

Apparently, they didn't have enough time to talk in the day.

Right in the middle of their talk about "Little House on the Prairie", you screamed, "SHUT UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

There were crickets. Man, where were they coming from?!

At least the boys had shut up. Crickets could be stepped on. Although Hiei liked them…

You pulled a Yusuke and fell asleep. As you were drifting off, you heard the boys start up again.

"So, Hiei, how's life?"

Me: Wasn't that short?

Kurama: …

Hiei: Yup.

Me: I didn't ask you! I was asking my husband.

Hiei: What?!

Kurama: She's right. Our wedding was last Friday.

Hiei: ~sigh~ The things you do, sometimes…

Me: I forced him to marry me! ^_^

Kurama: ^_^!

Me: Ok, that's all for now

Hiei: ~tries to wave bye but skin cracks~ AHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
