She should have been back by now, of this Rui had no doubts. Anxiously she stared down the pathway that led to the Makai, hoping to catch some glimpse of the woman. When she had told the smaller Koorime about her lost brother, she'd been specific in telling the girl she needed to return before her coming of age. To her dismay that year had come and gone with no sign of her. Was she dead? Rui didn't want to consider the possibility but she knew that it was likely. As powerful as the Koorime were known to be there were others far stronger out there and one Ice Maiden alone was no match if danger came to call. "Yukina where are you?"

But what if she were alive? That thought disturbed Rui even more than the possibility of the girl being dead. The ceremony that would initiate her into womanhood had never been performed and while it was more formality than anything else, specific information was passed down to each Maiden who would soon bear young. Centuries old secrets were withheld until that time, part of a tradition that had started when they had isolated themselves away from the rest of the Makai. Sighing heavily Rui turned away from the path to return home, just as she had done every day since Yukina had officially gone missing. If she were still alive her body would be stirring soon, seeking the bond that would be required for her body to give life to another.

The bitter wind whipped her hair to the side but Rui didn't feel its chilling effects. Under ideal circumstances both halves of the bond were always Koorime, in this way they had kept their race pure, free from the taint of males with the exception of the famed Forbidden Child. But Yukina had been the only one to leave the island in years and the possibility of the woman finding another Ice Maiden to bond with was virtually nonexistent if she did not return soon. Rui ignored the curious look thrown at her from her own bond mate, she really didn't feel like explaining her concerns at the moment. Few would understand the sympathy she held for the small woman who had left so many years ago in search of her forsaken kin. If only she knew if Yukina still lived and if so, did she plan to return? If another Koorime were not present when the time came for the bond to be completed, it would force her to seek out an acceptable substitute. One that a spiritual connection could be formed with. Would another Forbidden Child be brought into the world? The possibility was there, the bond wouldn't care for race or gender as Hina had proven when she'd taken a Fire Apparition as her mate. Sitting down heavily on the edge of her bed, Rui closed her eyes. Only time would tell as to the outcome of this particular problem, though she was unsure if she would ever know what the result had been. So long as Yukina remained gone, she had no way of knowing just what had happened short of seeking the woman out. It was a journey she had no desire to undertake.

~Back in The Ningenkai~

Had Yukina known just why Rui had been adamant in her warning to return she would have likely done so. However since key information had been left out, the Ice Maiden had seen no reason to return to the Koorime Island. Her search was far from over, her brother still could not be found. Until she had proof he was either dead or standing before her there was no way she was going to give up the search. More than once she'd been told to give it up as a lost cause but how could she? There was a connection there with the elusive man, she could feel it. The question was could he feel it as well? She hoped so, praying that it would be enough for him to seek her out one day and end the waiting. Until that day came to pass however she would remain patient and hopeful, ignoring the comments that attempted to dissuade her from her goal.

Yet it was hard not be come weighed down by disappointment as many days passed and there was still no sign of him. However on days like today as she stared out into the woods that surrounded the temple she couldn't help but feel he was close, as if he were watching over her. Perhaps it was only her imagination, or maybe it was another person entirely, she had her suspicions though she wouldn't voice them. Slowly she tucked a stand of hair back in place as she scanned the trees, hoping to catch a glimpse of the one she felt. Yes, there was someone definitely out there. She could feel a pull towards them and it had steadily become stronger over the past month though she couldn't explain just what it was. On the occasions that the tension became almost impossible to bear Hiei appeared. The visits surprised her at first but gradually she had become accustomed to him showing up when she seemed to need him most.

As if he realized that the Koorime needed his presence, Hiei left the shadows of the forest to take his place beside her on the bench. She didn't seem surprised to see him, merely smiling in acknowledgment. For several long moments neither of them spoke, though Hiei's thoughts were far from idle. His gaze roamed over her features, trying to determine just what was wrong with his sister. There were no doubts in his mind that something was off about her, even if he couldn't place it. Small beads of perspiration had gathered on her forehead despite the relative coolness of the afternoon and there was a change in her scent that he could not identify. Was she getting sick? "Something is wrong with you."

"I am fine now Hiei-san." Now that the apparition was by her side the uneasiness she had been feeling was slowly beginning to dissipate though the heat that was slowly beginning to course through her body didn't fade. How long would this feeling last? Yukina wasn't entirely certain what to think anymore. Sighing slightly she resisted the urge to lean in closer to him, knowing that Hiei wouldn't appreciate the physical contact that she craved. It would have to be enough that he chose to remain near her, even if only for a short time. After he left the apprehensiveness would return and she would be powerless to stop it but for now she relished the now rare peace that he had given her. "May I ask what brings you to the temple?" It was diverting the attention off of her she knew but at the moment she didn't want to dwell on her problems.

"No reason, I was in the area." That much was true at least but Hiei couldn't exactly explain why he was there. To be honest he didn't know himself, only that there was a pull that drew him there and it was directly involved with the Koorime seated next to him. Being unsure of what was causing it Hiei hadn't bothered trying to fight the pull on his soul, instead doing as it directed. Now he was glad that he had, as his gaze scanned over the small woman his brows furrowed. Whereas she had been alert before he'd shown himself, now as she continued to relax next to him her energy seemed to wane though it wasn't something the average person noticed. "You should return to the temple until this passes."

"Until what passes Hiei-san?" Yukina looked over at him curiously, wondering if he knew just what it was that was wrong with her. While she didn't feel ill there was something definitely off. No one else had noticed however and she wasn't about to concern them with something that was more than likely trivial. To her surprise his hand came up to rest against her cheek, as if testing it for warmth. Unconsciously she leaned into the touch, closing her eyes as she did so. Why did it feel so right to be next to him? The emotions were foreign but not unpleasant as they sat together. She wished someone would explain it to her, though she didn't begin to know how to ask without sounding silly.

There was no mistaking the warmth radiating off of her slight form, though it wasn't an urgent cause for concern. While extreme heat would be detrimental to a Koorime's health, a low grade fever such as the one Yukina had would have no lasting effects. Still, she needed to take care of herself before it developed into something worse. "You have taken ill. Come, I will see you inside." Pulling his hand away from her face Hiei stood and waited for her to acquiesce to his demands. Even though he would never reveal to her their true relation it didn't mean he wouldn't insist on certain things if it were in Yukina's best interests. Thankfully she didn't argue with him this time, though it was rare that she objected too much even when what he said wasn't what she wanted to hear.

A protest nearly passed her lips but Yukina silenced it, not wanting to give Hiei a reason to use his cutting logic on her. While most of the time he was gentler with her than he was with anyone else, she was not immune to the brunt of his anger when he felt it was deserved. That he even took the time to notice her declining health was enough to keep her quiet, it meant he cared and for that it was worth allowing him to coddle her for even a few moments. "As you wish Hiei-san." Carefully she stood, ignoring the twinge she felt as he began walking away from her. She should be used to this feeling by now, she had no holds on him and couldn't ask him to remain with her. There was no reason to explain the loss she felt when he left however and she didn't have the means to explain just what was happening to her. Seeing he'd slowed just enough for her to catch up to him, Yukina hurried her steps. "Will you be staying for long?"

Casting a side long glance at the girl, Hiei nodded. Until he was certain that her illness wasn't serious he would remain in the area at least, perhaps even staying at the temple since his presence seemed to calm her. "I will stay as long as necessary." The answer seemed to please her though he tried not to read too much into it. Yukina had always been friendly to him, accepting of his surly habits though he made certain that his darker deeds went beyond her notice. Whether she knew the truth about them or not was immaterial at that point, he wouldn't subject his sister to the truths about his life. Ascending the steps, he escorted her the rest of the way towards her quarters and stopped at the doorway. "Make sure you rest, I will be around if you need anything."

Yukina bit her lower lip but nodded anyway and slid the door open. She wanted to ask him to come in and sit with her but it wouldn't be proper and he'd probably question why she wished for him to remain. Within minutes of him leaving the pull would begin again and her emotions would begin to spiral out of control as they were wont to do. As she stepped through the entrance way she stopped, her hand resting on the door frame. Why was it becoming so hard to part from him? It was one thing when he left of his own accord but now that it was her walking away from him it felt as if her heart was being torn from her chest. "I don't understand this. Please Hiei-san, make it stop."

"Yukina?" The sheer amount of distress in her voice had him unnerved, the way she was clutching at the front of her kimono clearly indicating that she was in some form of pain. Tentatively he took a step forward, placing a hand on her shoulder to keep her steady. "Make what stop?" The urge to protect her from whatever was causing her anguish was strong yet he didn't know how to accomplish the task. "Genkai!" His voice cut through the air in hopes of getting the old psychic's attention without leaving his sister's side.

"Just.. Just don't leave me. Please, not yet." Breathing deeply Yukina tried to calm herself, keeping in mind that he was right beside her. Slowly the pain eased and she was able to open her eyes once more, managing a tired smile as Hiei stared at her worriedly. She didn't want to cause him such concern but this had never happened before, at least never so severely. "I'm okay, I think." Still she didn't move though, half expecting if she were to attempt such a thing the pain would return.

Regardless of her reassurances there was no way in hell he was leaving just yet. "You are not. In bed, now. You can explain this to me while you rest." Carefully he led her over to the futon, refusing to think on how instinctively she'd moved closer to him until they were touching as they walked. Only once she was settled comfortably on the futon did he allow himself to relax slightly. His gaze was intense as he stared into her eyes which were so like his own. "Now tell me, what is happening to you?" The sounds of footsteps appeared behind him though he didn't look away from the girl laying before him. He didn't need to, he already knew that Genkai had arrived, most likely in response to his shout though it had taken the old woman long enough.

"I'm not sure, it has never been like that before." Seeing Genkai sitting down as well both relieved and frustrated Yukina. Maybe she would know what was happening yet at the same time a flare of annoyance washed through her which was unexpected. As much as she cared for the old woman she was interrupting her time with the man gazing down on her. The feelings puzzled her, what reason would she have to be upset over such a thing? Clutching at the blanket that had been draped over her Yukina sighed. "It's been going on for weeks now, I'm not sure I can explain it. It's almost like I'm anticipating something though I don't know what or when it will happen. I just know that it will. Sometimes though, the feeling disappears only to be replaced with something more.. intense, yet it's not unpleasant." Yukina frowned, trying to think of how to accurately describe the feeling. "I'm seeking something or someone but I know not how to find what I'm looking for. But today is different, it was almost like I'd found who or what it was."

Hiei's eyes widened upon hearing this, wondering if she'd somehow picked up on the fact that he was her brother. However he could only see confusion in her eyes as she looked up at him. Had she known of their relationship, that was the last emotion he expected to see lingering there. It meant that this had to be something else, something unexplained. Regardless that didn't explain the very physical reaction Yukina had experienced earlier. He resisted the urge to brush her sweat soaked bangs away from her face as he looked down at her. "You were in pain."

"That's never happened before, if felt like my chest was being ripped open." The very memory made Yukina shudder, it wasn't a pain she wanted to experience again in this life time. How would Hiei react to hearing that he was the cause of her pain? She wasn't sure she wanted to burden the apparition with that knowledge, it wouldn't be fair to him.

"It sounds almost like you're experiencing panic attacks." With everything that Yukina had said so far that was the only thing that Genkai could come up with, though the physical manifestations of an illness that the Koorime was showing didn't quite add up. Gently she tested Yukina's temperature and frowned. "Your fever is increasing, How long has this been going on?" Apparently the girl had become quite adept at concealing things which bothered Genkai, with something like this it would have been preferable to know before physical pain had made an appearance. Now she wasn't sure just what they were dealing with and with Hiei aware of the problem it was just one more complication added on. The apparition could be vicious when it came to protecting the small Koorime and she didn't exactly relish the thought of putting up with his sour attitude because Yukina was ill.

"A while now." If Yukina didn't have to tell them that this had been building slowly for months now she wasn't going to. No doubt both of them would come down on her with disapproval for hiding such a thing but it hadn't seemed like such a big deal until recently. Somehow Yukina doubted it would have mattered even if she had, except to make them worry more. Both of them looked at if they didn't understand what was going on either. Perhaps it was something that would pass over time, though at this point Yukina wasn't going to hold her breath.

It was an evasive answer at best but for the moment Genkai wasn't going to push her for a more direct answer. If Yukina knew what was going on then she would have told them already, of that she was certain. For a moment she remained silent before looking over to Hiei who continued to stare at the Koorime in concern. "Stay here with her for now, I'll return shortly." Seeing him nod she stood and left the room to retrieve some cool water and a cloth, one way or another Yukina's fever needed to be reduced before it could cause her harm.

If there was one thing that Hiei despised it was feeling useless and that's exactly how he felt at the moment. What more could he do except to watch Yukina suffer as she laid there? While she didn't appear to be in any pain he of all demons knew that looks could be deceiving. Seeing her eyes slowly drifting closed Hiei shifted to get more comfortable, he would watch over her as she slept if nothing else. Once he was certain she didn't need him for the moment he would seek Kurama out, perhaps the kitsune would have some clue as to what was wrong with her. His eyes widened in surprise as a small hand closed over his own, squeezing gently. For a moment he nearly pulled away but stopped when he looked at his sister. Her expression was now peaceful, her eyes completely closed now as she clung to his hand.

"This has something to do with you but what I am not certain." As Genkai walked into the room carrying a bowl of water she carefully looked over the two demons in the room. There was no doubt about it, Yukina's aura had calmed greatly with that simple touch though it still stretched out to envelope the apparition holding her hand. The question was why? The Koorime hadn't gone anywhere that she could possibly come in contact with a Makai illness and this didn't fit any of diseases that she knew of anyway. Perhaps Hiei's involvement was coincidental but Genkai had been around for far too long to believe that was a strong possibility. "Tell me, this pain that she experienced earlier. What was she doing when it occurred?"

"Walking into the room." It was disturbing that he was connected to her pain somehow but Hiei wasn't sure of what could possibly be causing it. The fact that he felt the same pull that she had spoke on but on a lesser level had him confused. Was it something they shared because of their relationship? More than once he'd heard human's speak of a bond that twins carried regardless of distances that separated them. He'd never put much stock in it though considering he hadn't even been aware of Yukina's existence until he spoke to Rui. Wouldn't he have felt something before then even if he couldn't have explained it at the time?

Genkai nodded as she knelt next to the small Koorime and proceeded to wet the cloth, wringing it out thoroughly before placing it on her fevered forehead. "And where were you as it was happening?" A subtle shift in Yukina's position had her lifting a brow. There was no doubt about it, the small demoness had moved closer to the apparition though she didn't stir from her slumber, For some reason the Koorime had a desire to be close to the fire apparition seated next to her, even now his hand was pulled against her small chest and held tightly in place.

"Standing at the doorway to make sure she did as I told her." Yukina's actions continued to puzzle him as he stared down at her. Testing her grip, Hiei tugged his hand experimentally to see if she would release him though somehow he wasn't surprised when her fingers tightened. What on Earth would possess her to cling to him in such a fashion? Uneasily he shifted in his spot and resisted the urge to yank his hand away from her. As long as it brought her some sort of comfort he would allow the contact, even if he still believed he wasn't fit to touch one as pure as Yukina.

"As I thought." While Genkai didn't have the reasoning behind it, Hiei's words just confirmed that his presence was required until they figured out just what the problem was. If the Koorime walking away from him was enough to cause such pain then the old psychic didn't care to contemplate just how badly Yukina could be affected should Hiei decide to leave. "For whatever reason your presence calms her. For this reason I must ask you to remain nearby, her condition could grow worse if you are not present to counteract the effects. Until we know what is causing this we'll need to take every precaution to ensure this doesn't become worse." Her gaze was unwavering as she stared into those cold crimson eyes, she had to impress upon him just how important this was. While she still didn't understand why the man watched over Yukina so carefully she knew that Hiei wouldn't intentionally cause her harm. As long as he understood he was needed he would remain for as long as necessary.

Hiei remained expressionless as he nodded, as if he didn't really give a damn one way or another even if they both knew that was the farthest thing from the truth. Now that he was aware of something being wrong he wouldn't have left regardless of his effect on Yukina. If it came down to it he would move heaven and hell just to ensure that she was safe, no matter what the threat was.

Seeing that the apparition was compliant Genkai stood once again. There was little that she could do for the girl at this point in time and sitting there would do nothing. Yukina needed rest and with Hiei at her side she would be getting exactly that. In the meantime Genkai knew there was other things that needed attended to, not the least of which was informing the others that the Koorime had taken ill. Kuwabara at the least would wish to come and check on her, though if he disturbed her rest then Genkai would have no problems personally kicking his ass out of the room. "I'm sure if anything happens you'll contact me immediately. If she awakens do not allow her out of bed until I can check her over once more."

The instructions were unnecessary, Hiei wasn't about to allow her out of bed anytime soon so he ignored Genkai as she walked out of the room, quietly closing the door behind her. Sighing heavily he moved a bit closer to the girl and used his free hand to remove the ward over the Jagan. Closing his eyes he sought out the kitsune's familiar energy, hoping that the man would have some clue of what was going on. It wasn't long before he seized onto the familiar energy, establishing a mind link with minimal trouble. 'Kurama.'

'Hiei?'

It was rare that he surprised the avatar but Hiei could feel through the link just how unexpected the contact had been. Had this not been so important he might have laughed over finally flustering Kurama's calm, cool demeanor. Instead he pushed the thought aside, choosing to get to the heart of the matter. 'Yukina has fallen ill, can you come to the temple? We have not been able to determine the origins of the problem.'

'Not immediately, I'm tied up in a traffic jam with a four car pile up on the highway. Once I get passed it however is another story, what are her symptoms?'

Frustration welled up knowing that the one most likely to help was unable to do so. Rather than outlining every detail as he had done with Genkai he gave the Kitsune the memory of the conversation as well as images of the girl in question. As the information passed between them he could feel Kurama's mind running through the different possibilities. 'Well?'

'It could be a number of things Hiei but I'll be honest I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this. Physical pain is not generally tied into the physical proximity of another person.'

The link was dropped suddenly as Hiei was pulled forcibly out of his trance. Movement in his lap had him looking down, his eyes widening in surprise as he stared into his sister's face. While he had been conversing with Kurama she had moved once more, this time settling her head in his lap with her arm draped over his legs. "What in the hell?" Futilely he tried to place her back on the futon but it was to no available, her arm only tightened after she'd moved it to wrap securely around his waist. "Dammit, you're supposed to be staying in bed and not laying on top of me." In response her cheek rubbed against his thigh, as if reassuring herself that he was indeed there.

Giving it up as a lost cause Hiei repositioned himself on the futon and laid back as best as he could, hoping that she would grow uncomfortable in her current position and move herself. Closing his eyes again he sought out Kurama's mind, trying to ignore the girl laying in his lap. 'Kurama? I don't care how you do it but get your ass here soon.' He didn't exactly have the desire to tell Kurama why but he knew that if he didn't the man was likely to think Yukina was at death's door.

'Hiei? What the hell is going on?'

Grumbling, Hiei resigned himself to divulging more information. 'She's decided to use me as a pillow.' As he felt the Kitsune's amusement his fists clenched in anger, if he heard so much as a chuckle coming from Kurama he was going to throttle him.

'I'll be there when I can. In the meantime try and keep her comfortable even if it means allowing her to lay on you.'

'Kurama!' A sharp retort was ready to be hurled at his partner yet it never got delivered, Kurama having broken off the link at the first wave of anger he felt. It looked as if he were going to be there for a few hours waiting on the man to arrive. Shaking his head he settled more comfortably on the futon and sighed when Yukina seemed to recognize his change in position by inching her way up his body. Only once her head was comfortably settled on his chest did she sigh and relax once more. Slowly his eyes drifted closed as he allowed sleep to take him. If nothing else it was one way to pass the time until help arrived. As he fell further into the land of dreams he never noticed the faint glow that radiated from Yukina's body, nor the way it slowly began to encase his own. The only thing that mattered was the feeling of contentment that came with the bond taking hold and solidifying, binding the two of them together.

~*~

Why was it so hot? Yukina shifted uncomfortably, opening her eyes slowly as she tried to determine where she was. Black cloth moved beneath her fingertips as she realized that somehow she had come to lay on top of Hiei while she was asleep, though his steady breathing told her that he had yet to wake. It was strange yet comforting at the same time to be pressed up against him, a feeling she realized that she could quickly become accustomed to. Slowly her eyes drifted closed again, intending on returning to sleep when the foreign feelings intensified. Her breath caught as the heat began to pool in her lower regions causing an ache that she'd never experienced before.

Hiei's arms tightened around her as she moved her legs, trying to ease the ache that had formed between them. A low moan escaped her lips as the apparition shifted beneath her causing her legs to straddle his hips. Something hot and hard brushed against her throbbing core, sending a jolt of pleasure through her body. "Oh..." Her fingers clenched in his cloak as she brushed against it more firmly. Pressure was added as the demon beneath her flexed his hips, seeking out firmer contact even though he had yet to awaken.

But there was an added sensation, one distinctly not her own. Pleasure, burning pleasure threatened to consume her with each heated touch to her core though instinct told her that it was coming from the man beneath her. How was it possible? Did he feel hers as well? The way his breathing was coming more rapidly told her that the apparition was experiencing her pleasure as well. A groan escaped him as she rocked against him forcibly, his head thrown to the side as his back arched. How much better would it feel without their clothing between them? Would he mind? Slowly her hand forced its way between them, slipping beneath the waistline of his pants to feel the smooth flesh that was the source of his pleasure.

Inquisitive fingers traced along the hardness they encountered, making Yukina hiss in pleasure. Was it always like this? The thick length throbbed in her hand as she stroked it slowly, savoring the sensations that she received from her partner. She didn't have the means to explain how she was experiencing such intense enjoyment from touching him but it didn't matter. Pulling her hand free the Koorime levered herself up and away from Hiei's body, fighting how his arms tried to pull her back down. Feverishly she worked on his belts, pulling them free and exposing his member to the cool night air. Instinct guided her into straddling his hips once more, rubbing her aching core along that heated length, moaning as the feelings intensified without the thick barrier of his trousers between them. "Oh Hiei..."

Desperately Hiei clung to unconsciousness, not wanting to rejoin the land of the living. Demanding fingers traced over his heated flesh in his dream while searing heat caressed his cock with agonizing slowness. It was a dream he didn't want to wake from, one far too intense to give up without a fight. A moan escaped his lips as his erection brushed the edge of the cloth barrier preventing him from burying himself in that welcoming heat. His hips shifted slightly, just enough to slide the material over allowing his cock to slip between her slick folds yet not enough to allow him to drive up into her damp sex.

If she'd thought it felt good before it was nothing compared to the feel of him touching her bare flesh. Without considering the consequences Yukina yanked her obi off, allowing her kimono to fall open completely. Impatience filled her as she tugged at the waistband of her panties. It would take too much time to extract herself from Hiei's grip to remove them in the normal fashion so instead she tore the flimsy material, ripping them away from her body and tossing them to the side. Now she could feel him completely unobstructed. His arms pulled her back down then, holding her against his chest as his lips sought her neck. "Please!" She didn't know what she was asking for, only knowing that he could give her what she needed to ease the desire that was threatening to overwhelm her.

A smirk crossed Hiei's lips as his hands gripped his dream woman's hips. That was exactly what he wanted to hear, her begging for him to take her. Slowly he pushed the woman down, his cock forcing its way into the tight passage that was being offered to him. A moan escaped him as her walls clung to him almost painfully but he didn't stop until he was buried completely inside of her. The sounds of her soft pants drove him onward, withdrawing until just the tip was left before driving it back in.

"Hiei!" What little pain there had been with his initial penetration was quickly overwhelmed by the pleasure surging through the bond that they now shared. Very voice filled the room, thick with passion as he drove repeatedly into her body. She felt the exact moment that he came awake, his arms tightening around her almost to the point of being painful. She could feel the conflicting emotions within him, the need to continue warring with the desire to stop and question what they were doing. Eager for him to continue she added her own movements, riding his cock as she planted soft kisses on his neck. "Please." Her breath came out in short pants as he gave himself over to what was happening. "You feel.. so good!" The fire burning deep within was hotter than ever, sending her spiraling out of control as she cried out her pleasure. Tremors shook her body as her climax began to take hold but her lover didn't slow for even a moment. "Oh please! Harder Hiei!" Just when she thought it couldn't become any more intense he joined her in release, his length throbbing as he emptied his seed deep within her body.

"Yukina.." Hiei fought for control of his breathing as his sister clung to him, riding out the last waves of her release. Disbelief filled him as his cock twitched with renewed life deep within his twin. How could this have happened? Disgust with what he'd done to her filled him and despite how she clung to him he pushed her off roughly. Why had she started such a thing with him? Answers were not forthcoming as she stared up at him with sorrow filled eyes which made him feel even worse. He couldn't be angry with her, she didn't know the truth, hell she probably didn't even know what she was doing before he'd entered her.

Feeling his anger brought tears to her eyes, was what they had done so wrong? No, she couldn't believe that. Something that felt so wonderful couldn't be wrong, so why was he upset? "Hiei? Why?" Abruptly he began fixing his pants, refusing to even look at her as he did so and Yukina just knew that he was about to leave. "No, don't go!" Frantically she moved towards him, ignoring the way her kimono slid off of one shoulder. She had to stop him from going. "Was what we did so wrong? Does my touch disgust you? Please tell me!" Her hand settled on his arm, the firm muscles trembling beneath her fingertips for a moment before stilling once more. "Do you.. hate me for what I've done?"

Hiei couldn't look at her even though he could feel the pain he was causing her with his reaction. "It should have never happened in the first place." The hand which had been touching him so tenderly dropped as if in shock but he couldn't let it affect him. What would she say if she knew the truth? How could he admit that he'd just fucked his own twin and enjoyed it? He truly was an abomination, someone to be loathed and feared. He'd tainted her with his touch and even now his body demanded that he do it again. "It was a mistake and it won't be happening again." While he might not have had control over his body the first time there was no way he was going to give into what his instincts told him to do. "I'm leaving, if you know what's good for you, you will not follow." It was an empty threat at best but he needed to be away from her until he could calm himself and decide where to go from here. Yukina seemed to be fine now, though he wouldn't go far just in case her sickness came back.

The question had gone unanswered though she could feel the anger and disgust rolling off of him. The hollow sound of hiroseki stones striking the floor went unnoticed as she stared at his retreating back through tear filled eyes. He truly did hate her now. What had she done?
