`Why am I still thinkin' about him. I should be morning the loss of my friend. He so fine though. Those eyes…... those lips. Damn! Resse stop it!'

Hiei interrupted my thoughts. "Someone is following us. When I tell you run. Understood?"

"I don't run from anyone."

"Hn."

We walked for a while before the demons decided to show themselves.

The leader was tall, had short red hair, and matching eyes. He didn't look dangerous, but I know not to judge by appearance. His friend was tall, had long blonde hair, and blue eyes. I could tell by her skimpy dress that she was ho.

"Well what do we have here, Koju? The dude asked.

"I dunno Koji. A human slut and the demon she plans to fuck next." The chick said.

"Oh no this scank ass ho didn't! Tell me that she did not just say that!" she pissed me off.

"What are you going to do about it?" she snarled.

I ran up to her faked a punch at her head, and kicked her in the stomach. She doubled over for a second. I used that time to hit her as many times as I could. I was so into the fight I barely registered that Hiei was fighting beside me.

The fight was over in a few minutes.

"That was fun." I said as I walked away from the unconscious form of Koju.

"Hn."

"That's annoying."

"Stop it."

"Hn."

"I'm gonna strangle you."

I grabbed his neck and pretended to strangle him. He tickled my sides and I let go of him.

"So you are ticklish." He said reaching for me.

I ran from him. He let me stay a head of him for a few minutes then sped up and tickled me for behind.

"Ok, ok! Stop! I give up! Stop!" I laughed out of breath.

Hiei sat own and pulled me into his lap. After awhile I decided to ask him a bunch of random question.

"What's your favorite color?"

"Black."

"Whets your favorite food?"

"Sweet Snow."

"What flavor?"

"Chocolate." He said kissing my neck.

"Stop it." I teased pulling away from him.

"Come back here."

I got up and walked away.

"A chase is it?"

He smirked and came after me.

I ran until I got to a cliff. It was about 100 feet high, and at the bottom was a river. I turned and started to run the way I came.

`On second thought…. It would be fun to take a dive. I wonder how good of a swimmer Hiei is. Would he even come after me? Well I won't know until I try.'

She turned around, and before I could do anything she jumped off the cliff. I ran to the edge, and saw her hit the water. I waited a minute for her to surface. When she didn't I took off my cloak and jumped in after her.

When I got under the water I looked for her, but didn't see her. I surfaced to see her about a mile away from me with a smile on her face. I closed the distance between us in minutes.

"Let's go." I said when I reached her.

I was angry, and I know my face showed it. Resse, on the other hand, face was expressionless.

We walked until nightfall in silence. we found a clearance to set up camp in

"I was scared, and angry that you would do something that dangerous."

"I know. It was my fault I shouldn't have it. I didn't know how you would react. I will warn you now that isn't gonna be the last time you see me jump off a cliff. I used to do it all the time when I was in Jamaica. I love doing it I don't know why, but I do."

"Try to do it less often."

"Why do you care what happens to me?"

"I love you."

The words came out of my mouth before I had time to think about it, but once I said it I knew that it was true.

Resse smiled, laid her head on my chest and whispered "I love you too." Before falling asleep in my arms.

I woke up before Hiei, and didn't want to wake him. So I got up, and decided to work on my dance steps.

"What are you doing?" Hiei asked looking at me like I've just lost my mind.

"The chicken head. I was born and raised in America, and we dance differently over there than here. So no I'm not crazy. Wanna learn?"
