~One year later~

Info: Now I'm only 14 years old I work as a bodyguard for Koenma and his Father. Koenma allowed me to go to High School in Staten Island, NY. Yusuke and the others are also 14yrs old and now in high school. Sani is eight but because of her demon blood she aged faster than normal making her 13 years old. This didn't surprise me because it happened to me when I was a kid as well. She had all her memories erased except for one of me, our dad, and our mother. She thinks I abandoned her so she's looking around for me trying to find and sight fight you. I've been following Sani around and everyone but her knows this. I became pretty good friends with her and the others during the past years, but I still haven't met Keiko, Yukina, or Shizure. Everyone who knows Yusuke and Sani say that the only resemblance is the fighting skill and poor grades. Like him she doesn't wear a uniform and instead wears a black leather jacket, jeans, and a red shirt. Monday Morning.

Yusuke-[Bye Mom, I'm taking Sani, to school today. Come on you twerp!]

Sani-[Yeah, yeah, I'm coming.]

Yusuke steps through the door and almost jumps when I land in front of him.

Yusuke-[I'll never get used to you popping up like that; you're almost as good as Hiei when it comes to it.]

[funny, detective. I'm..... I'm just here to see Sani.]

Sani-[What are you doing here?]

[Nice to see you too, ya brat. Yusuke if you don't mind I'll take her you've been late too many times already.]

Yusuke-[ha! Me, late? You're actually starting to sound like.... ahh Keiko!]

[Yusuke Urameshi you are coming with me right- oh I'm sorry I'm Keiko Yukimura and you are?]

I look behind me to see a girl obviously Keiko and I'm not gonna describe her.

[Name's Cassandra, Come on Sani.]

Sani-[yeah, yeah, See ya Keiko, See ya dickhead.]

I start to chuckle a little seeing how in a million years I would never believe her to be someone to say that.

We start walking towards Sariyaski Jr. High since Sani goes there and jump into one of the trees before Mr. Takanaka sees me.

Mr. T-[Late again are we Miss. Urameshi. You're just like your brother.]

[not her brother, not her brother!!!]

Sani-[yeah, yeah old man, just lead the way to your office or where it is this time you're taking me.]

[I thought we were early?]

Mr. t-[actually young lady you're early for once. Go to your homeroom already.]

I followed her until lunchtime which was lucky for some people because I had to go back to Spirit World to do guard duty in the jail cells and Sani got in a fight. If I were there I would have probably finished off those pathetic humans.

I run back to Yusuke's house to see Sani doing her homework. I lie back down on the base of the tree next to their house and fall asleep.

[Shh.... careful.... careful...]

I open my right eye slowly to see a disappointed Sani and yusuke who were trying to sneak up on me. She only managed to do that to me a few times but that was when I was known as her sister.

[Sani, I swear you never stop trying.]

Sani-[nun uh.]

My cell phone starts vibrating in my pocket and I open it to listen to Koenma's screams. In the middle of his screams when he gets to the point of the phone call my face turns shocked and angry. I take one look at Sani and grab her by the wrist and drag her into a portal leaving yusuke with the cell phone I dropped.

[Koenma, are you serious!!!]

Koenma-[Yes, Cassandra, yes I am.]

I slammed my fist on his desk almost making it break on contact. Koenma said that Sani had to go to some kind of Demon Boot camp to control her powers.

[Hell no. She's not even a demon!!]

Koenma-[she's half demon and you know that Kase- Cassandra.]

[Sani, please tell me you don't want to go there.]

Sani-[Hell yeah. I get to kick demon ass. WOOT!!!!]

I smacked myself on my forehead and glare at Koenma even though at the moment I had an anime sweat drop.

[Koenma, she won't survive. She barely killed Kuwabara when she was seven, how do you expect her to kill demons her age.]

Sani-[Hey I beat him up badly, and how do you know. It's not like you were ther-]

Her mouth widens as you start to glow blue and black.

[Onna stop making a scene.]

I snap my head to see Hiei at the doors to Koenma's office and I start to calm down.

[Stay out of this is, my problem not yours.]

Sani-[actually it's no one's problem, especially not yours Cassandra.]

[ay why can't it be easier than this.]

Koenma-[If you tell her it might.]

Sani-[Tell me what?]

I run through the doorway before Sani realizes I left and Koenma sighed as well as Hiei.

I ran out of the castle/manor/whatever and ran to the old forest/cliff/beach with a little help from a portal that Sani and I used to live on. Below from the cliff I was sitting waves were crashing like crazy. I jumped down and landed on a rock and lied down to rest. As soon as I close my eye I get pushed off the rock but not by a wave. I glance back to see Hiei on the same rock I was on smirking.

[why'd you throw me off, more importantly, why are you here?]

Hiei-[hn, she's gonna find out. She's older than Yukina was when you left her.]

[yeah I know but hell I don't want her mad at me. Now I have to beg Koenma for a job at that camp.]

Hiei-[..... with all those little brats?]

[yeah, Oh am I gonna love it when she and I get out of there.]

Hiei-[Then why are you going? She can protect herself.]

[no..... she can't she'd never fought with a real weapon let alone powers.]

Hiei-[the Sais, when we first met you two you gave her three Sais.]

[they were rubber Sais. She just used it to conduct her energy but that's the last time she's fought like that.]

Hiei-[You still remember that day?]

[of course I do.... oh that..... yeah she pushed me.... it was an accident I never meant to-]

I got cut off in the middle of the sentence by him helping me back up. Even though Hiei and I have been friends he's never really helped anyone unless it helped him in the process. I stared at him trying to figure out what going on in his head when something catches my eye behind him. Pay back time. Behind him a wave was coming and fast. I jumped in to the water and smirked at him before diving underwater. I popped back above water laughing when I realize Hiei didn't say baka onna at me yet. I look around for him and see him floating underwater and I start swimming after him. I grab him by the waist and I'm seriously amazed by how heavy he is. I start swimming back up and we both land on the beach with help by another monster wave.

[oh great um... now what???]

I check his heart beat and its barely beating.

I AM NOT DOING THIS!!!!!! NOT AGAIN!!!!

I qouickly speed dial Kurama's number and tell him what happened.

Kurama-[I'm afraid you will have to perform CPR-]

I shut the phone on him and sigh. I press on his chest five times and take a deep breath. I close my eyes and after the third try he finally coughs up some water and looks at me as I'm blushing like mad. I get up and start to a path that leads back to the house when I faintly hear a, “Thank you.” I just smile back at him.

[you help me I help you. But you owe me big time for that, one more thing, How much do you weigh, You're heavy man.]

Hiei-[muscle weighs more than fat.]

[fat and muscle weigh a lot more together.]

I run back to Yusuke's house by a portal to see Sani packing her stuff with Atsuku crying her eyes out.

Atsuku-[Please don't go!!!]

[listen to her Sani, you don't have to go.]

Sani-[Well I want to Cassandra, and you have no say in it.]

[Sani..... fine go ahead..... but if anything happens...]

Sani-[You're not my big sister so lay off.]

I growl softly enough for Yusuke to hear and glare at him as he chuckles nervously and backs away slowly.

[If I at least knew her I know she'll be saying the same thing I am.]

Sani-[nope she'll just want to get rid of me as fast as she can.]

[oh and why did she train-]

All of a sudden the black and blue aura around you appears and you fall on your knees unconscious.

Sani-[Cassandra?]

I felt myself changing back to the form Sani still remembers as her sister and some how I find myself back in the house on the cliff, but as quickly as I started to change the feeling went away.

I rubbed my head softly and looked around to see Hiei on the windowsill asleep. I walked over to him amazed to see him peaceful for once and not angry, annoyed, or unemotional. I walk through on of the doorways and look around to find myself in a hall way. Pictures of me, Sani, and our father surrounded the walls and a tear drop feel down my cheek. I wiped it off fast and run back to the room I woke up in. In one corner a tile catches my eye. It has a different pattern then the other tiles and I inch towards it. I tap it and it sounds hollow. One of my daggers come off my belt and into my hand and I pry the tile out. Inside the hollow tile was a small box with a lock. I try to smash it but not even a scratch appears on it. I keep on smashing it on the ground and Hiei wakes up and looks at me like I'm crazy.

Hiei-[onna what are you smashing?]

[huh? Oh this box I found. The lock won't open.]

Hiei-[hn baka, Let me take a look at it.]

I look at him and pass the box to him. He looks at the top of it and hands it back.

[So..... how does it open?]

Hiei walks over to the window sill and sits down.

Hiei-[Be damned if I know.]

I of course had an anime fall.

I spend 5 minutes smashing it on the floor and throwing it at the walls until I gave up. I picked it up by the lid and it falls open.

[what the...?]

All the stuff inside of it falls to the floor and I look at them carefully. There's a set of Sais, a dagger, a letter, and three necklaces with orbs pendants, one blue orb with a black chain, one black with a silver chain, another gold orb with a gold chain. There was also a picture of you, Sani, your father and another little girl. As well as those items there was a separate compartment with a small book and a dagger.

[again, what the....?]

I take the black orb and it burns my hand as well as the gold one. The blue on though does nothing but glow in my hands. I look at the gold and blue one and the picture and then at the book and weapons.

I try to put on the necklace and it takes me three minutes until I finally got it.

Hiei-[baka onna... Sani's portal about to appear.]

[say that again it sounded like you said... Sani...]

I jump out the window into a portal I summoned just to see Sani's foot go through the portal.

My hands slam on the ground and I get up and summon another portal.

You-[Aw come on!!!!!]

(Guys POV)

Yusuke-[Bye, you little hater.]

Sani-[Yeah, yeah dickhead, where's Cassandra?]

Atsuku-[She was supposed to be here.]

Kurama-[I saw Hiei go her way, she'll be coming soon.]

Sani-[soon ain't soon enough.]

Kuwabara-[well, don't leave please.]

Sani-[moron I have to leave or else I won't be able to beat my sister when I finally find her.]

Kuwabara-[Why would you want to beat up Cassa-]

Yusuke threw one of his shoes at Kuwabara's head making him get a very large bump and Yusuke, Botan, and Kurama have anime veins.

Yusuke-[Kuwabara!!!]

Sani-[I got to go. Tell Cassandra I said bye.]

Cassandra comes through a portal after Sani and her eyes look blank as she sees Sani go completely through the portal.

She starts pounding on the ground with her fists until a portal appears and she jumps through.

Atsuko-[What's up with her?]

Yusuke-[Remember when Sani said she had a sister that abandoned her. Let's just say both of them never forgot each other.]

Atsuko-[Cassandra was her sister..... they look nothing like each other.]

Yusuke-[You should see the way she looked before. When I first met them I thought she was her babysitter or something.]

Atsuko-[what a strange pair.]

Yusuke-[Hey Hiei!]

Hiei-[where is she?]

Yusuke-[just missed her.]

Hiei-[I meant Kasey.]

Yusuke-[Like I said just missed her.]

Hiei-[what!!??]

Hiei takes off with Yusuke yelling and Atsuku going back into the house with Kurama promising to cook dinner.

~Cassandra POV~

Sani!! How am I supposed to look after you if you keep on running away!!!

I finally reach the end of the portal and appear at my dream camp which is a mortals and demon's worst nightmare. Barbed wire filled with poison energy, water surrounding it like an island, and hate fish surrounding the waters.

The camp is poorly made, ok just imagine it as the worst, most terrific (to me), boot camp I've ever seen, Demon guards all around and demon recruits. I finally spot Sani and rush towards her seeing three demons about to jump her from behind.

Sani-[Cassandra?]

[you didn't think I wouldn't say bye did you? Oh and Koenma made me your personal bodyguard.]

Sani-[You're kidding me right? That's great!]

I smile at her and climb to one of the roofs there.

[You there get off of there right now!!]

I look down to see a nasty looking pig demon wearing an army hat.

[what's it to you bub.]

I close your eyes only to smell something so putrid I had to open my eyes again.

Pig Face-[Listen up maggot; you are here to learn your powers I already know mine so imagine what damage I could do to you.]

I stand up and jump down from the roof to face pig face and I take out a dagger.

[How stupid are you to pick a fight with me?]

Sani-[GO CASSANDRA!!! BEAT HIS ASS!!!]

[Hey pig face, listen up and listen good. I'm staying here and I'm not a recruit. You want to still fight the chief bodyguard of Koenma and his father, go ahead I'm ready.]

Pig Face-[whoa you're Cassandra aren't you? No way I'm just a commande-]

[back off you swine.]

Pig face-[What did I get myself into first Cassandra, now Hiei?]

I turn around to see Hiei glaring and about to attack.

[Hiei, just go away I'm staying here with Sani.]

Hiei's eyes go wide for a second but go back to normal before you could even see it. He turns around and disappears.

[finally, Sani I'm actually gonna be your bodyguard after you finish camp so I'll be seeing you and maybe one day you'll learn who your sister is. So long until you oget out of this hell hole.]

Sani-[Hey, can we forget about her. Maybe for like forever Koenma said I've been assigned a new family..... You, He says Yusuke's a bad influence.]

I stare at her in disbelief and take off after Hiei's lead and disappear. With an actual 100% smile on my face.
