YYF12: Hello again. *Hits Yumi on top of head with a frying pan. Hologram disperses revealing Emily (my best friend) aka Lady Tokyo.

Lady Tokyo:(@@) Ouch.

YYF12: O.o Oopsies.

Lady Tokyo: !.! What you do that for?

YYF12: ^^ ' Sorry! I didn't know it was you.

Lady Tokyo: XO Yea right YYF12.

YYF12: ^^ ' Really. 83 Unless it was YOU that was Playing Yumi In my notes.

Lady Tokyo: **' Yes. Hey I was Sugar high. I couldn't control myself. * Gets hit in head with frying pan Again (Aren't I mean.)*

Kurama: Will you two stop acting like children. Especially you YYF12. Your just plain childish. *Gets hit in the head with even bigger frying pan (HA HA HA HA HA!!!! Aren't I mean.) (Sorry Kurama fans I just can't help it, I like hitting people in the head with big frying pans.)

YYF12: No one calls me childish and gets away with it!

*Lady Tokyo gets up*

Lady Tokyo: On with the fanfic. *Falls back down on ground*

YYF12: This chapter is about Yumi's life before she lost her memory.

Her crystal blue eyes turned amber as the anger and memories of years long since forgotten.

**## Seven years earlier (about 12:00 pm) (It's winter) ##**

"Hey momma I'm going to go pick some black berries ok." Said a chibbi Yumi

"Ok Yumi but be home by sunset. Got that Yumi." said Yari.

"Love you momma. Bye!"chibbi Yumi said waving goodbye to her mother. Little did she know that this would be the last time she'd see her beloved mother ever again, alive that is.

**Later that day (lets say around 6:50 pm)**

"Momma I'm home!" chibbi Yumi said while skipping happily towards home. When she didn't get a reply she started to get worried.

"Momma? Momma. Where are you?" she yelled looking all around for her mother when suddenly she heard two gunshots outside. When Yumi got outside, she saw what no one her age should have seen. Her mother was lying in the snow covered in her own blood, Kari standing not far away holding a gun.

"Momma. MOMMA!" chibbi Yumi said running to her now dead mother crying.

"Yumi! Get away from her!" Kari said grabbing Yumi trying to pull the young girl away from the girl's dead mother.

"NO!" chibbi Yumi said in defiance. Then suddenly Yumi blacked out, and her memory erased, all except the last few moments of this day.

**End Dream (Flash back)**

Yumi sat up gasping for air, sweat dripping down her face. She looked around the room and noticed that it wasn't her's.

"Where am I? What happened?" she asked herself.

"Now I remember!"

##Earlier in forest##

Hiei was too busy massacring the snake demons that he didn't notice the snake demon that survived one of his attacks slithering towards Yumi, who was pretty much defenseless. Luckily she took notice to the snake and screamed, which in turn startled the snake and opened the chance for her to run. She, ofcorse, took this chance. When she was half way to the edge of the forest, she noticed that she was being picked up carried by the boy. Then she realized how fast he was running, which scared her enough that she clung to him.

++Who is this guy and how can he run so fast?++ she asked herself.

"Who are you and where are you taking me?" she asked the boy in a child-like voice.

"Hn." he answered.

"Well, you don't have to be so rude you know. " she said in a matter-of- fact kina voice.

"Hn. My names Hiei and I'm taking you to a friend of mine's house." he answered.

"My name's Yumi." she said.

"Hn." answered Hiei in a Like-I-Realy-Care type of voice

By the time they got to Hiei's friend's house Yumi had fallen asleep in Hiei's arms. (A/n: Awww. Sorry I just had to say it. I mean it's just so sweet!)

##End flashback##

"So that's what happened to me. Where's Hiei?" Yumi said looking around the room this time she noticed a boy with red hair that had fallen asleep in a desk chair. (Guess who this is?)

"Who's he? He must be the friend Hiei was talking about." she said almost silently. His eyes fluttered open at this comment, Yumi of course, who wasn't the rude type, had turned away from the red head. (what I mean is she dosn't stare.)

"Your awake." he said, which startled Yumi.

" You too. Where's Hiei?" said Yumi. He let out a sigh.

"He's probably somewhere outside." said Red (this is Yumi's nickname for him)

"What's your name?" Yumi asked him quizicly.

"Kurama."
