"I think we should be heading home. Ok Kurama?" said Adrienne.

"Good night you guys. Have a safe trip home." said Kurama.

"Hn. Now we have to find a place for the onna to live while Koro is looking for her." scoffed Hiei.

"What do you mean? Why can't I go home!" she said trying to hold her anger back.

"What he's saying is that you're in danger. There is a demon out there looking for you. So he can get revenge for his past humiliation. Who he's really looking for is a full blood fire demon called Yari. Supposededly your mother. She was said to have married a human and had a daughter. But no one's completely sure. But he won't leave you alone until he gets what he wants. Revenge." Explained Kurama.

"So every thing Kari ever told me was a lie. Hey Kurama. If my mom's a demon and my dad's a human. What does that make me?" she asked sadly.

"Hn. You're half- demon." Hiei said with boredom in his voice.

"Half- demon. You mean I'm half demon and half human. I heard it was forbidden for demons and humans to come together. But my parents did it anyway. I now see the truth, why Kari lied to me. She did it to protect me. I remember the day mom died but before that, I can't remember any thing." She said sadly as a lone tear ran down her cheek.

"You don't have to tell us." Kurama said hugging Yumi.

"I'll tell you in the morning. Ok? Thank you Kurama and Hiei. Good night." Yumi said giving both of them small hugs and heading off to bed. Hiei had a slight red tent to his face. (A/n: OOOO could it be? Hiei has a crush on Yumi!)

"Hiei. Maybe it's best if you watch over her to make sure she's safe tonight. We don't want Koro to come and kill her." Kurama said smiling. (A/n: He saw Hiei blushing ^^)

"Hn. Alright kitsune. I'll watch over the baka onna. But you owe me one." Hiei scoffed.

(A/n: the song lyrics you a re about to read were handwritten by me. So take them and you die. Literally.) Yumi was brushing her hair and acting like the brush was a microphone. Then she got to singing her favorite song `No One Sees Me (For Who I Am)' by her favorite band The In-Between. (A/n: That's the name of my band so no body better steal it or else.) She got so into the song she didn't notice Hiei come into her room.

Clapping was heard from the doorway and the wall behind her. Yumi turns around and sees Hiei and Kurama clapping.

"You guys scared me." Yumi said sighing.

"Well we're sorry for suprising you, but Hiei s going to be in here all night. Just in case Koro tries to come kill you in the middle of the night." Kurama said explaining the reason for Hiei being in the room.

"Its ok. I can protect myself thank you very much! What's with you guys and thinking us woman are weak. Some are, some aren't, And I'm one of the ones that aren't weak." Yumi scoffed. They just stood there both were surprised at her strong words. Yumi walks over to the window.

" Why are you guys still here? I told you I don't need protection." Yumi said angrily.

"Like it or not you do need protection." Kurama flatly stated. (A/n: Talk about stubborn. ^^')

" Shh. He's here." Hiei whispered. Just then the glass broke and Yumi disappeared. The only thing left was a black feather.
