This story came as a pleasant surprise as there does not seem to be many stories with Midoriko and Sesshoumaru interacting with each other. It seemed to me that you spent more time in character developement which I really appreciated. Sometimes, many time when one reads fanfiction the characters are rather two demensional or cliched form of the origional. anothe rpont i noticed was that you were a bit m ore subtle with the romantic undercurrents between Sesshoumaru and Midoriko. So many other writers would have had them down on the floor long before her final battle. It is nice to see a relationship take its course. You do the same with Rin. Besides that the story is interesting in itself. It's not your usual Sesshoumaru/Rin Inuyasha/Kagome story that tends to get generated about. On a more technical note or maybe something you might want to consider. There is a tendancy in your writing to use ajectives like "incredibly","completely", "merely" "simply" and one other though I forget it at the moment. These tend to be crutch adjectives to add emphasis to a particular verb and for the most part they are not needed at all. It fact you might find that the flow of your sentence is easier without them at all. It's just a thought. Keep up the good work. i will look forward to seeing a new chapter from you. Honestly I was surprised that there were only two other reviews besides mine. Quite surprised.
