I have to say I enjoyed your work! Most Sango/Miroku peices I have read were overly done, and not unique at all. I enjoyed the style in which it was written, and your use of vocabulary was amazing. Most writers hesitate to use the larger, more intimidating words for fear the reader may not understand, you didn't. I do agree with The Cat's review in that some of the words were jarring. Simplifying a few words may make it flow better, and easier to read for those who don't have such an extensive vocabulary. The characters' seemed very thoroughly developed and actually seemed more in character than most other peices. It was nice to see Sango say something other than "Hentai!" and slap Miroku when he made a lecherous comment, as it's very overused. The detail in the peice was wonderful, and I thought it was a good peice. The ending seemed a little rushed though. (By the way, thank you for the review, and I agree. Somewhere along the road I plan on revising and editing.)

Whoops - see what using big words gets ya? Typo: I meant pedantic, not pendantic.

This fic was quite romantic and well-written, but the emphasis on overly formal or pendantic vocabulary kept jarring me, taking me out of the story and making me think, "Gee, someone's got a thesaurus." Using unusual words is great in moderation and can help create a precise visual if used properly, but sometimes you've got to reign in the urge for clarity's sake. Otherwise, a sweet look at Miroku and Sango's relationship, with nice descriptive passages.
