You've received yet another perfect ten! Don't blame me though- It was the pickup line's fault. I mean, here's Kakashi seriously contemplating the meaning of life (or Gai, I should say)... And here's the standard, "Lemee teach you how it's done, leetle girl." Haha, that was too funny! And the blood and lye thing... Veery cool. *__*b

this chapter was so hilarious! today was a lucky day for me, you posted another chapter of this story, and i found the chapter 29 for Freeport! it's amazing the way you can switch from the deepness and darkness of wufei and duo(which i loooove freeport to death. raygunworks hasn't been updating it and i was getting antsy- so i stalked you all the way to mediaminer ;D), and then write this lighthearted but still kinda' deep naruto fic. i'm especially loving kakashi's inner thoughts when he's with idika--it's so funny. he's so cruel and protective. some of the things kakashi thinks to himself are priceless- like the fire ants and the bubbling lye. the part where Kakashi vomits after gai spews his light of youth spiel was very nicely thought up and funny. good job, and keep writing! your writing skill is so good and it's refreshing after reading some other truly...interesting...fics. your characters really come alive and I can actually believe in the personalities you portray. love it all, keep it up!

Oh gosh. Ii never imagined that Gai would be so much fun! He's so adorably clueless, like a kitten stumbling into light. wonderful job on this. i wish there was more. love your portrayal of Gai so much. and your portrayal of kakashi is still my favorite! flay

It struck me at some point that Kakashi is like a too-cool-Sasuke-all-growed-up at times. Then he subtly and without ego, tries to help a close friend and respected rival. Gai's right: He really is a modern guy. The character voices are really believable, which I appreciate for a scenario that I certainly haven't come across before, no matter how plausible an extrapolation it is. I like seeing Gai this way.
