That review was right. They don't have bathrooms or sinks or kitchens. Kaede has a one-room hut. Only rich people would have mirrors so you are right that Kagome would have to get a mirror out of her backpack. But there was no kitchen. She would have to go to the river or maybe they have a bucket with water in there but they don't have a kitchen, only one big room with a fire that they do everything in.

Your precious reviewer was correct about them having indoor plumbing but it is your story and you are intitled to write it any way you want. Also, they did have mirrors, if you remember Kanna always carried one. It was a little odd with the plumbing in the hut but I didn't really ruin the story for me, in fact I would like to know what happens next. Please keep writing.

Ummm...you do know that they didn't have any bathrooms or running water back then, right? There's no way Kaede would have a mirror either or a sink to hang it over. Mistakes about stuff like that kinda ruins the story.
