Somehow I'm not surprised that Kagome would answer the communicator naked, especially if she hadn't used it before. I probably would have assumed it was like some sort of two way radio instead of having a picture transmitted. No doubt Koemma got more of a show than he expected. It's amusing watching Hiei fight a losing battle with himself. No matter how he tries, everything seems to be stacking against him. Though it looks as if he is coming to realize they have more in common than once thought. He's survived years with people degrading him and considering him worthless, nothing more than scum to be scraped off the bottom of their boots. He overcame it, just as Kagome will. The main difference is Hiei learned to shield himself at an early age where Kagome seems to be unable to do so. I think, once he comes to accept what is happening he'll be the one to shield her from any further attempts at degradation, whether it's at Inuyasha's hands or anyone elses.

It figures that Hiei would lash out at her without really meaning to. He's never been that good at tempering his emotions for anyone, even his sister. The first time he spoke with her in the series rescuing her from Tahrukane (I think thats how you spell it) he came close to biting her head off with how harsh his tone of voice was. Kagome wouldn't be any different in this instance. Now to Inuyasha. We have a familiar presence invading his mind. I'm going to guess it's Naraku unless he managed to detatch more of his hellspawn and that is what survived. The question is how hard is Inuyasha going to fight his influence. I believe he'd blame Kagome to a point for Kikyo's death but will it be enough for Naraku to take him over? If so then he's either got to find a way to go through the well (which I am assuming is sealed) or he's got an extremely long wait ahead of him. If the latter is the case then Kagome might be in trouble since he'll have five hundred or so years to become stronger.

So Yusuke's single now, and obviously attracted to Kagome even if it's only on a physical level right now. I have to wonder if he's going to attempt to work his way in there, especially seeing that neither Koenma nor Hiei saw fit to explain to him what was going on. I don't blame them for that but I can see if causing problems in the future if Yusuke decides he wants to get to know her better. Especially since he goes against authority and both of the guys just told him to stay away from her. I think that might get his rebellious side up and he'll show up sometime to see exactly what makes Kagome so special.

Well it seems as if Kagome has a good handle on exactly what happened which leads me to wonder how she knows. We didn't get to see what happened to her in the transition between the Feudal Era and the Reikai. Did she somehow have a talk with Midoriko when she was passing through time and the different realms or was the knowledge passed onto her upon absorbing the jewel? It is an interesting question in any instance. Now we are seeing more of the reaction from Hiei that I was expecting. He certainly isn't going to like being bonded with no option of him breaking it, especially with who his partners are now. Kagome would have been bad enough to start until he got to know her but Koenma has to grate on his nerves. He's probably wishing it was almost anyone but Koenma at this point. I foresee a lot of hard times ahead for the three of them. Good work!

To me the idea of Hiei dragging Koenma around the Ningenkai so they could go girl watching is too damned funny. I doubt Hiei would ever do such a thing but the mental image that comes to mind is most amusing. Koenma would have to be wearing his robes I think, otherwise the girls would be getting more of a view of him than they might have originally thought. Yusuke would get a kick out of that one no doubt if he were to see it happening.

It's nice to see Koenma in teenage form, I have to wonder if he's ever going to revert back to his younger persona. I hope not, while Kagome may be accepting of many things I think that seeing him chibified might be a bit uncomfortable for her. Hiei certainly seems to be taking things rather well, better than I originally expected. Then again, the softer side of him that he would rather not admit to is very rarely shown even though there are a few instances of it in the series. I rather like seeing that part of him developed.

Well, I'm at it again. With luck I will get caught up on my reviews for your stories. I have read this one before, I am curious as to why exactly you have the credit up for BAON on this. So far, I really can't see any great similarity between the plots between the two stories. Unless it's from something that hasn't been written yet. I guess it will remain to be seen. I adore the pairing you have for this.

Most excellent. I haven't seen this threesome before. I am excited to see how things will work. I like the combination of the careing Koenma and the firey Heie to help balance Kagome. I agree with Megan, I like the three of them together that would definetly be intriguing. I hope you write more on this one and all of your other stories. Keep up the great work.
