Not a flame, just some constructive criticism. Well I have to start off by saying that Kagome's mom is OOC. Even in an Alternate Universe fic OOC isn't good. I believe Kagome's reaction to the news of being shipped off and having an arranged marriage was pretty good. But the attitude she has now when they're driving to the house was OOC. It's true that we don't know how she would react to the deaths of her family members. But I don't think she would have an attitude. Kagome is by nature a very kind, loving person so I think she would be more inward with her emotions after such a tragity. I don't think she would lash out or be rude but maybe stop talking or something like that.
