very moving. there aren't too many words that i can use to express how good this chapter/ending was. but you wrote this perfectly to how itachi must have been feeling. dying with that smile on his face, knowing that he had at least saved sasuke. wonderful story. i would love to read more if you ever have another story where you write itachi. you write him so well, and i hardly read any good stories with him in it.

magnificent! it's always worth the wait for these chapters. so beautifully written and just so beautiful. btw, there is a part missing of one of the sentences, "How he must have cursed his fate, that night, knowing he was to be given to a creature as foul as Orochimaru. And how he must have l" just to let you know. other than that, it was a very well written chapter with hardly any mistakes.

I find this to be one of the most powerful and thought provoking Naruto fanfictions out there...I would love to see this continued, for the simple fact that your writing style is so amazing it gives me the chills...keep it up!

this was th most entetaining story ive ever read, I think that it was good itachi lost because he would be tired from fighting his whole clan but you should really consider writeing your own book because. it was written like a profetional big props man cant say it enough

I've been wondering when I was going to see an update from you and thankfully I still have that old mm account and it alerted me! Yay! I've read this chapter so fast I can't even tell if it was shorter than the others or my enthusiasm was too great...I think it was a bit shorter though. And you introduced Tobi! He really brightens up the fic with his silly talk. I'm very curious about the woman, I don't think I've ever heard of her. And Itachi's mission...I can't wait for the next update! I'm not going to ramble again about how this fic is pure brilliance, because I'm sure I've repeated that to you so many times that you're bored of hearing it :) I'm feeling like I can understand more that is the mystery of Uchiha Itachi through your story. So thank you for the great read and please update soon!

Powerful. Riveting. Vividly written. You have effectively given reason to Itachi's choices, humanizing him and creating a believable story of his descent into 'madness'. Brilliant. I don't know what to think of Itachi. Pity him? Hate him? I have always questioned his motives for keeping Sasuke alive and goading him to hatred and revenge, reading this fic gives me even more to think about.

This fanfic is pretty cool and offers a nice change from most fanfics about Itachi's(whom I consider the best and coolest chacter in Naruto)childhood.I'm still podering the question though of"Itachi could have easily kicked Orochimaru's ass,"but I guess its your desicion if Itachi isant the all powerful person he should be.This story is still very orignal and enjoyable of which is one of my favorites and I highly reccomend this fanfic.Nicely done.
