Hello, hello. For some reason I haven't reviewed this yet, so here I go :) What makes this fic so original is the fact that you stray from the "instant change in character from an act of kindness" trend I've seen in stories that delve into Piccolo's past. A change in character doesn't happen overnight, and you potray this beautiflly! Kudos!

There aren't enough stories exploring the darker side of Piccolo and the influence of his father. Nice description as well.

An enjoyable quick read. Interesting that he's almost teenaged-rebelious in this.

Beautiful. Atmospheric and emotional and the closing line just sang. Piccolo at this stage of the game was a fascinating creature.
