I think you should revise this so far. There's no reason Inuyasha would have not come to Kagome's rescue. He would have smelled her, or at least Kouga, and have been there to save her. You don't explain why she can't go through the well, so there's a gaping plot hole. And finally, if kagome really loved Inuyasha, she'd try to explain what happened to him. Sorry, but I just don't think it's that good.
