Whew, girl. The last five chapters were out of sight! I love the interactions you create with Manji and Rin; some are funny; some not so funny... they really go through some growing at this point, getting to know each other in another light now that they're 'pillowing' with each other, without the deed being done. Funny part with Rin/Manji/Ryonosuke, I got a good laughter out of Manji's responses. And Rin's little 'fight' was good too. What irks me is when Rin says to Manji that she loves him, but she's not in love with him? WTF??? I hate when people throw that word around... if you're in love, your in love. Why does it have to be so defined and complicated? Why does it have to be so freakin' different?? Okay, sorry for the rant. Your story had nothing to do with that outburst. @_@ loving the details, I love how Manji and Rin are getting closer, and did I mention I still love this crap? Well, off to read the next five chapters... will review soon...

Wow! What a good read so far! Okay, I want to start off my saying that chapters 6 and seven were hot. HOT HOT HOT!! Poor Rin, I bet she wished she wasn't a samurai woman now! I also like in chapter 8 how you show how conflicted and torn Rin is with her decision to not 'pillow' Manji; and I thought that his cold attitude was uncalled for. I know he's a man with needs, but he's got to understand her predicament. And I got thwarted back at chapter nine, which was a duplicate of chapter eight... you may want to fix that. @_@ But chapter ten was hilarious! I was a bit angry that Manji stunk of another woman, and Rin had a right to be angry... but then again, she doesn't because she refused him. But I see you've left me with yet another cliffy, so I'm off to read the next five. Did I mention I love this crap? Laters! :D

I HAD to stop reading this and send you a review. First of all, I'm puzzled at why there aren't any reviews for this... becasue it is great. Better than great. It is SUPER!! I am new at reading BOtI, but last week I recently caught myself up and finished reading chapter 132. Second, I want to comment on how you're writing this... you hit the nail on the head with the chemistry between Manji and Rin... it is so similar (wait, not that, DEAD ON) with the manga that I can acutally visulize everything. This is an awesome piece, and I see that I'm in for a huge treat becasue chapter five left off with a huge cliffy, so I'd better wrap this up. I'll be letting you know how the next five chapers are fairing in another review; but I'm sure it's going to be awesome like the first five. >_*

Ack! I just spent all day reading this fic, all 32 chapters and I'm hooked now :) Please continue the story. I have to know if Anotsu is really going to ask her for her hand, and if Manji ever comes to his senses and...yeah, definitely hooked :) I used to read the Blade of the Immortal manga, but somewhere along the line, I stopped for some reason. This fic has totally gotten me all excited to start reading again :) your writing style is impecible and I really admire your attention to detail. The characters are well in character (as far as I can recall) and the storyline is seems well developed. It's impressive the amount of research you've done, and it makes a noticable difference in your writing. I don't think I can praise this fic enough :) Thanks for getting me back into BotI, I look forward to the rest of the story. Rinji.

BOTI is such a hard series to capture in a fanfiction. You have done such a great job of doing just that. I can't wait until you write more.

I am disappointed that there is only ONE fanfic for BOI, but very very glad that it is a damn good one! Very anxious to read the next chap, hope Rin & Manji ends up together.

Thank you, have been looking for a good BOTI fanfic and found a fantastic one. The other BOTI stories Ive read were no good at all. This one is clearlly one of the best fanfic Ive EVER read.

Wow! I love BotI, and I stumbled upon this fic. I really love what you got going on with your writing; there is a sense of the creater's voice in this first chapter. I already like what you have going on with Rin and Manji---in the books, it seemed there were a lot of tension between them. So, I'm going to read on and see what you've got going on in this promising story!

i love this fic, it's so hard to find good BotI fics (or any at all). you totally captured the natures of the characters, and i found myself laughing with frustration over Rin, as i imagine Manji might. i love that they went and baught Rin some "porn" to learn from, that just fits so well. i look forward to later chapters, nearly as much as i do to the next book... damn DarkHorse Comics for the wait they inflict upon us fans!
