In response to your comment: Totally agree with your interpretation of the situation of the two main characters personality portrail. Sesshomaru is in no way a weak or shy character, he is, in my opinion, too much to handle, and that's the reason he makes little appeariences in the anime and in the manga. Too much of Sesshomaru would undo the air of mystery, unfathomable power, and simple yet complecated arisocratic-ness of his personality. An audience can only handle so much of him-- so even in the InuYasha movies when he is one of the main characters, the creator made an ingenious effort to give the audience Sesshomaru, in all his glory-- only she gave it in frequent little bits, spacing out his appearences. This leaves us authors who want to feature Sesshomaru as the front man to our fanfiction in a predicament that the creator had never placed him in-- and that is that the focus is on him, therefore there are no side story 'fillers' to space apart his reactions or how he will respond to something that may 'bend' the way he usually acts. That's why so many of us have trouble portraying him correctly-- simply because he's the main focus of the story rather than a side story character-- and because he's the main focus, it also makes us have to use our imagination to try and predict the way he would respond given what the creator has given as backround information. Woo that was long! The same is for all other characters that aren't main focus characters like Kagura, Kanna, Naraku, Koga, Kagome's family and the likewise. Aside from all of that....... The recent additions to the story are wonderful, the part that really stood out to me was when Sesshomaru compared Kagome to art, a poem, a painting, silk, and a fine wine that flowed through his fingers in the finest of ways. It was beautiful and skillfully written, showing off his intellectual and creative appreaciation for beauty. Well done, keep up the good work! -Kinoko

You know you're amazing...right? ^_^ If you don't know that...then let me tell you...YOU'RE AMAZING! Yes, yes, me likey the lemon...me likey a lot! HEE HEE! Perhaps she is dead? HEE HEE! HE SMILES! YES! I love the torture you put her through for Sesshoumaru's satisfaction. HEE HEE! I can almost imagine a sheepish grin on his face once he knew he had her where he wanted her. LOL! I enjoyed the coupling chapter as well as the way you portray Kagome. Many authors take Kagome to the extreme 'subordinate' or 'submissive' attitude, or the other extreme of absolutely being a bitch. You however have taken both and made her into the person she really is in the anime-- bitchy at times and submissive at others. On the other hand, sometimes I have trouble seeing Sesshomaru doing the things you discribe in your story, but given the circumstance you've placed him in, I agree with the way you portray his actions and thoughts. HEE HEE! I couldn't help myself...I had to laugh while reading this chapter. I found so much humor in the arguing (Mainly on Kagome's part). I could imagine her giving him heck and not understanding why he treats her so. ^_^ HA HA! I just love your style. You've got these two characters pegged so well. Both are so stubborn. ^_^ Kagome seems to be more of a hot head then Sesshy though...which...isn't too far from the truth in the series themselves. HEE HEE! He seems to be able to control his anger for the most part...until Inuyasha comes around. ~Rolls eyes~ Brotherly love. ~Snicker~ ANYHOOOOOW, Sesshoumaru sure knows how to win a fight...doesn't he? ~Snicker~ BTW...Yes, I realized I had misunderstood your meaning in that chapter, but...I figured you'd straighten me out. HEE HEE! I was a bit confused, but left it up to my own mind to make heads or tails of it...and that was the best I could come up with. HEE HEE! The story is still awesome. Regardless of error. ^_^ My apologies to you if this chapter wasn't intended to be funny, but I seriously couldn't help myself. Very good chapter. ^_^ Looking forward to next chapter. I usually write huge reviews for stories I read, however I want to get back to it, and I'm simply writing this because you asked me to. I really enjoy reading, and since I enjoy it so much, I've read pretty much all of the IY stories that are of high caliber, so when I came across yours I was instantly intriged. Good job on capturing my attention! The plot is one that I like and that isn't dramatically over done (as in there aren't that many stories like this one) and in this quality I applaude you. Well I'm going on with the story and I promise that I'll review again. -Kinoko
