In my opinion, your writting has many amazing and creative ideas, I love the fact you use realism and historical facts within them. Although I have found many mistakes in the grammar or maybe words that are obviously not supposed to be there (and sometimes confuse me since I'm not an english speaker), your work in everything else is enthralling..This particular story seems to have a great start and I really would like to know what will happen next! do not stop writting please! I'm really curious about what Souta's friends plan to do (and Kagome and Inuyasha's reactions to it). I want to know how this particular story turns out, since unlike other authors, you can really feel like you took and honestly feudal-era hanyou and threw him in modern Japan..jeje I think if I had to rate your writting ability it would be a 10 and if I had to say what I liked the best of it, it would be the mix of realism in history/mithology

This plot really needs to be further developed and be allowed to be told. I would absolutely hate to see you let this one go. So, please don't! I really want to see how this fic unfolds, so don't stop or you're in big trouble!!

You're still pretty early in the story to worry about getting lots of reviews. I'm sure once you actually get into the meat of the plot the number of reviews will shoot up. The last couple of chapters to me seemed to be filler, and that's harder to write a review for. I like people taking a slow approach as much as the next person, but you spent a little too much time on the stuff with Souta, Grandpa, and the movies for my taste. Already cop movies have been a central point for two chapters in a row, and it looks like they're getting a third. I think maybe you should try to space out the side stories more. Kagome essentaily had the same converstation with Grandpa that she had the previous chapter with Souta. And why would Inuyasha need to know about things like DNA, blood types, and fingerprints? It's not like he or anyone he knows has access to equipment that can analyze that stuff. Unless he breaks into a police station. Is he going to break into a police station? Because that would be cool. And the cop movies are going to screw him up aren't they? Not only are they not that accurate in general, but he's doing more of a P.I. thing than a cop thing. if anything he should be watching detective movies like the Maltese Falcon. Or in a bizarro alterna-world where people in Japan would watch it, the first season of Veronica Mars. Those would be way more helpful than an action flick.

Title: Inuyasha: The Modern Adventures Reviewed By: Dilanda Albata* On: October 29, 2005 16:43 CDT Comment/Review: Problem: If Inuyasha was worried about Kagome getting kidnapped, wouldn't he jump at the chance to get the guy that got Yokio? Besides that, I wouldn't say this is your best piece of writing, but it's still good.

"You've got such a steady base for this that I can't wait for the next installment, and the next, and the next.... I've always loved your stories and this looks to be no exception. Please continue and know that I've got you marked as a fav auth!! Awesome work yet again!!

It kind of reminds me of the first few chapters of Present Time (because of how it's nabbed my interest, not because of any slight simularities). I like how you haven't made Inuyasha a total bullying idiot like most people seem to. I hope that if Kagome gets Inuyasha to tone down the violence and recklessness on her side of the well that he gets her to tone down on the rosary. I can't wait to see where this story goes, and I really hope you update quickly, because I have a feeling the anticipation of waiting for new chapters of this puppy is going to be as bad as waiting for new episodes of Veronica Mars.

Reviewed By: alatero [MediaMiner Member] On: October 14, 2005 23:50 CDT Comment/Review: I love almost all of your stories. The ones I don't like aren't because of your writing style or anything, it's just that the storyline does not appeal to me. I am so glad you are posting a new story. Please update soon! You're stories are always well written and well thought out. I absolutely love your writing. I hope you get a chance to update soon!
