Aww that was so cute. And by the way, I have 2 tattoos and they really don't hurt that much. It all depends on where you get it. And no, no matter how much it hurts going on, it never hurts for more than a couple minutes after it's done.

I liked it. I always like a fluffy ending. At first I thought that Kagome succumbed to getting the tattoo awfully easily but you later explained that she really wanted it. A tattoo made a nice change from the fanon mating mark and I liked the way poor IY referred to it as "marring" Kagome's skin. I do think the POV changes could have been handled more gracefully. If you look at a novel, the typically will have a string of asterisks or some other symbol to demark the change in POV then it is up to the author to establish which character we are now with.
