This is really exciting!! I love the new element you've introduced, with time having stopped in the other world, and youkai roaming the countryside. I like the descriptiveness in your writing, especially when relating the tender and caring moments between seishi and miko. I also appreciated that you had Chichiri and Tasuki being honest with Miaka about what's happened; it's a great and subtle way of showing the respect they have for her inner strength, and that they see her as an adult. Even so, you've done a nice job of balancing that respect with Tasuki's deep concern for the very tough road that lies ahead for her, and the determination that he and Chichiri will do all they can to protect her. Good characterization! *gives you kudos and a hearty pat on the back* In conclusion, I'm the last person to give anyone a bad time about a lack of updates...*looks around guiltily*...but I will say that I'm excited to read the next installment, and that I'm very glad you're continuing this tale!! *^_______^*

Yay, you updated! ^_^ This was a lovely chapter. Your descriptions are wonderfully tactile (example: his heart feeling like it had jumped into an ice cold ocean) plus did a great job of illustrating Chichiri's and Tasuki's thoughts while still keeping them in character! I especially enjoyed how you well showed the more tender side of Tasuki. ^_^ The cliffhanger was very nicely done- definitely gave me an omnious feeling. Can't wait to find out what's going on! I enjoyed this chapter! It didn't matter to me that it was short because you did so well in setting scene, character pov and emotional transitions. The ending was very well done- it definitely made me want to keep reading! ^_^ Every good wish, KittyLynne PS. Ano, This is really good. I hope you update this soon. I would like to know what happens once everyone finds out what happened. Is there a reason for the doctor's widow? Is she just a back-up character or is she going to be making some interesting realizations with the way things are going to go? What happened where Houki had to die? Assuming that you are talking about Hotohori's Houki... *ahem* Lastly, what happened where Taka had to die? How did he die? And does Miaka feel more than the pain of his passing... will she feel guilt over the feelings she had when she found out about his job promotion. Though if she does, I hope she doesn't keep herself within that funk for too long. Nicely written and I hope that you do update soon!
