Oh, Gojyo. That last line was probably the most effective. I've always had a soft spot for Gojyo and his affection-starved self, and this just added to that. And Hakkai... very understandable, and yet, is he really trying to protect Gojyo? Or is he protecting himself from feeling too much? I have a feeling it's both... though, I'd rather he wouldn't. This just hurts in a good way. I've always enjoyed reading your fics.
