Ah! What a satisfying ending! This is just a great story, and I have to say, I honestly enjoy it more each time I read it. The splashes of humor, the romance, the passion, -- and of course, the opening angst -- it's got it all! And I loved the way you dealt with all the characters -- nice touch! You know, chapter 9 was almost painfully romantic. The ritual for binding their souls was just brilliant. I loved the details of the incisions across their hands and over their hearts. NICE! And great lemon, too! Fabulous chapter!

Ah, chapters 6 and 7 are so good! I love the way Kurama is on one side of the well telling Hiei he can't blame her when he never gave her a reason to stay, and on the other side, Inuyasha is telling Kag she's a damn fool and a coward for not telling Hiei straight up that she loved him. That's just good writing. ^_^

Just finished up chapter 5. Somehow, I don't think I appreciated this as much the other times I read it. Maybe I missed some of the wonderful, subtle ironies. Maybe I just didn't appreciate Hiei's personality as much. I don't know. I mean, I've always loved it, but right now it's really getting to me. I loved Shizuru's no-nonsense way of dealing with Kag. And i loved the way she actually went to say goodbye to all of them, but no one was home -- even kurama had left to find Hiei. Hmmm. Perhaps he should have gone to sit on Kag first. LOL!! Got to keep reading!!

Yep. I'm reading this one again. And just loving it all over again. I just finished chapter 3, and it hit it more powerfully than the other times I've read this. Her thoughts, and his about how similar they actually were, -- how their desires were much the same, but he would never act them them because of his own fears of rejection and loss, -- just pulled me in deeper this time. His thought about her trying to kill herself, like he had before, hit me strongly, -- along with his determination that if she did something like that, he'd have Koenma bring her back, and THEN she'd be in for it. LOL!! This is just a great story! So poignant. And I loved the way you took Inu out of the picture, -- not with Kikyou, or anyone else, -- just his own problems. I'm going to read on! ^_^

This was one of the best stories that I have read. I even staid up until... *looks at clock* 6:41am!!! I have school in about an hour and a half!! *sighs* Oh well, I can always blame being tired on my constent insomnia..... anyways... thank you for writting this fic, it was hightly emtional and I even felt myself close to tears at some point during my reading.
