Those first two chapters are a nice beginnign to your story. Inuyasha's note and gift was particularly heart-touching and the fact that he loves Kagome from afar. We know Kagome loves him when she's younger but her current feelings don't show that she's thinking of him, her "silent protector." I wonder if she realizes it's Inuyasha. Then again, does she even know his name? lol. As for your writing style, you need to space your paragraphs out more. They are very bunched together and it makes it seem like your trying to crowd everything together. When there's repertoire going on don't be afraid to double space in between each party's sentences as you switch back and forth between them. One other thing, when you change time periods or scenes it's a good idea to separate them somehow, liek with a jagged line or something just so people know there's a scene change. Other than that your spelling and grammar were very good with minimal issues. I do hope you continue and I do look forward to your next chapters! ^^ One last piece of advice: try and make your chapters longer by adding more description of people, places, and events.
