I've enjoyed the read thus far. I like how you've set up this little problem with affections. The set up seems to have promise and I hope to read more soon.

I like the atmospheric ( and symbolic) use of the rainstorm. And nicotine deprived (and subsequenlty very pissed) Yuki made me laugh with self recognition.

Nice piece so far. Like the way you're handling the dynamic between Shu and Hiro. Just a few things...don't usually go into spelling, however these are common enough I thought I'd mention it: it's maybe and bye (or by, depending on useage) Also, the word is platonic, as in the Greek philosopher Plato, not plutonic, as in Pluto, the Greek god. Finally...good heavens! Yuki...in polyester! never!!!!!! :D Enjoying this, looking forward to the rest.
