First off, I must say that I don't read many original stories. However, when I read that "A Winter's Flight" had placed second (well done, by the way, I would've never been able to do something like that!), I was more inclined to read it, figuring if it had placed in the top three in a contest, it must be good. I loved how you use description to it's fullest. It's amazing how I was able to visualize the whole thing, even what Maya looked like. "A Winter's Flight" is definitely a story I will recommend to my friends. Once again, congratulations on your 2nd place finish.
