This is an interesting chapter. Ed obviously isn't going to be trusting Roy anymore. I half expected Ed to tell Mustang that it was all his fault after the General left. But he didn't. What are you going to do now? I wonder. This is a really good story, but I am wondering if Ed is going to think that all of the things he lost is worth more or less than the baby he has been given.Mother and Brother VS a Child by Roy Mustang. It's going to be an interesting ending I can already see it. First though, I am eager to read the next chapter. Thanks fr updating! Ja!

Just when I didn't thing it could get any worse for Ed. Damn, that was intense. I can't imagine Ed without alchemy. I'm curious to see how he deals with this, keep up the good work!

...holy shit. I can't even begin to imagine how Roy and Ed must feel. This is...different, to say the least. But you seem to know what you're talking about, and I'm curious to see where you go with this. The 'conversation' with Al was so sad; in my opinion a very realistic reaction for Ed. Thank you SO MUCH for keeping everyone in character!! Al, Ed, Roy, Riza, they're all perfect. Unfortunately there are two many fanfic authors that disregard their true personalities and give them one of their own, which makes me ask; why the hell don't you just write about your own character instead of slaughtering someone else's? Another thing I like about all of your stories; the dialogue isn't weird and robotic sounding. It flows smoothly and it sounds...real, for lack of a better word. Not to mention your imagery; you paint a perfect picture of the surroundings and I can always picture exactly what the character looks like at the time. Even though this is RoyxEd like 'Family' is, you manage to make them comepletely different, especially the nature of the relationship between the two. I must say, I've never read anything like this, you're definately one of the boldest authors I've read up to now - I mean that as a compliment - and I am eager for your next installment. Sorry if you wanted constructive critisism instead of just praise, but I honestly can't find anything wrong with this story. Definately one of my favorites, you're doing an amazing job.

Wow... I know, most authors don't think their own work good enough. I just thought you'd like to know that I wish I wrote stuff like that as well as you do. I'm writing a RoyxEd, and I would like some opinions. if you like, you can look it up. It's called FullMetal Wolf.

Wow. I needed a good read, and that was it. I can't get over how accurately you convey the emotions they feel. It's sooooooo good! Well now it looks like it's on to a relationship between The Flame and Fullmetal, which I normally don't like but for some reason I do when you write it. I think what I like so much is that although Ed and Roy are so close in your stories you don't downplay the love they have for the other characters, like Ed and Al and Roy and Hughes. When Ed is talking about Al to Roy; the "He was everything" part, I was really on the verge of tears. Update as soon as you can, I can't wait to read more of this.(And the same goes for 'Family')
