oh, i seriously think that this is the only good mirage of blaze fanfic out there. well, the only good happy one. i swear, i teared when takaya finally gave himself to naoe. i was afraid that this wouldn't ever be finished until i came back and saw that you had updated during the summer. i'm all up for the smut, but please don't forget their relationship. it's what makes them so damn interesting XD

"Be nice and play with me some more" ??? OH! I love how you write! Please update! This fic is so good! You know, it's really had for me to find a good Mirage of Blaze fic. That's probably because I'm really picky and I like a lot of emotion and detail. Thanks for the awesome story!

There are not alot of MoB fics on the net so it's pretty rare to come across one that is so well written such as this one. Are you going to be continuing? I certainly hope so because I love this story! Hope to see an update soon.

That was just amazing, hypnotic really. THIS is what I wanted in the OVA - well, maybe not THIS exactly, but Naoe actually receiving this affection and Takaya maybe not meeting his desire but at least making an effort to keep up with it! Wow. I was nearly teary at Naoe finding acceptance and release. This part was so good in expressing Naoe's possessive need for Takaya. "You'll stay with me forever. You won't leave me, you won't abandon, and you won't ignore me because I won't let you." This, this was it. This was the commanding presence of someone who had seen war, who had led troops, who had carried lives in his hands. Takaya had seen glimpses of it before, when they quarreled and Naoe would get indignant. Angered. Ferocious. It was his fighting spirit, the one that had made him continue to live on for four hundred years. And then this part makes SO much sense... And in a way it was befitting that Naoe had won because Takaya knew that if he had come out the victor, he would have never been happy, true happiness would have escaped him and he wouldn't have even noticed. Naoe seeing the end of his struggle in sight was awesome. (Yes, you're making me say that word, dammit, and I'm not even a teen anymore! lol) It was the thing he'd waited for, and he was going to sit back and enjoy it, bask in the feel of it, let his pride, which had been injured for years, let it soak in this blissful feeling. And believe me, Naoe wasn't the only one wishing it wouldn't end here... He prayed to whatever god that was willing to listen for this moment to never end. But I could see there were only a couple lines left! Waaah! "Naoe...can I spend the night with you?" PAH-LEASE tell me you're working on the next chapter? I just don't see how Naoe could say "NO" after all of that! And are you ending it with this, or do you have evil obstacles awaiting these two now? I must know! Thanks so much for the chapters! Very grateful for the entertaining read.

OMG! This chapter! So exciting and sexy and intense and loving... Naoe's confession was excellent. And Takaya being so bold and separating himself from Lord Kagetora's past so he could allow his feelings for Naoe, who'd never actually done anything against him, was great. Of course I'm not sure Kagetora will be so enthused with Takaya actually wanting Naoe! I loved this sad, revealing part... It was all so frustrating and watching Takaya as he won the round between Saori, leaning against the wall again and laughing at her, it made something within him want to...hurt him. He'd understood that it was jealousy, jealousy for not being the cause of that smile, the fact that others could bring it out, the fact that he had tried all his life to get Kagetora to smile at him like that and always failing miserably. Of course Naoe accepting Takaya for who he is, and all those differences from Kagetora, can grant him a true, mutual relationship. I just hope it works out for them, but with Kagetora being a part of Takaya, there may be some residual backlash in all of this! Very entertaining fic! I'm so happy I found it!

Aw! I loved the chapters with Takaya's relationship with his sister and then Naoe's relationship with Haruie. You did such a wonderful job relaying how they feel towards the women/family in their lives. Oh Haruie is such a meddler, though, huh? LOL

I really love this so far! I like how you're keeping Takaya himself without turning him into Lord Kagetora as he seemed to become in the OVA. It made too much conflict between them after that, so I'm definitely enjoying Takaya's ability to separate himself from that past and react to it in his own way. Awesome job! It's very entertaining. And I love how you convey Naoe's overwhelming need and obsessiveness, along with Takaya's conflicting feelings about the man.
