"Blue Lightening" Reviews/Comments [ 11 ]

*My life is fucked already. Being with Solo can hardly make it worse* Well... OK... I think... But what about Solo? I have no doubts Duo could just rip apart any of Solo's possible enemies, but what if some brainfucked idiot would seek vengeance upon Duo? Duo's boyfriend would be the best place to strike, after all, and Solo's chances to survive such an encounter are somewhere around "0" (if he's *very* lucky). Maybe, Duo should consider this as well...

*It took him a second to convince his muscles that this was *not* an attack, and then he relaxed into the embrace.* Well, this time a disaster was successfully avoided, but for everyones sake, they should have the talk about the dangers of surprising Duo. And to have it ASAP.

*"No, o'course. I'd get out if I could."* Huh? Maybe, you wouldn't mind to explain, why? As far as I can tell, Solo's room isn't a lot worse or smaller than Duo's, he has a good relationships with the club's owner and workers, besides, with bouncers at the door, it's almost like with security for the rich people's houses - no unwanted visitors. So... What has he to complain about? Is there something your readers still aren't aware of? Something unpleasant for Solo in his current living arrangements?

*It used to be that he protected me, but now I find myself wanting to protect him* Well, old habits die hard. Considering, how Duo had spent last several years, it's only natural for him to protect everyone from everything. Besides, now, Duo *really* has means to help Solo. *I don't know how receptive either of us will be to the change.* Duo will be allright (read above), but Solo... People like him just don't know how to accept care (especially, from former wards) without feeling themself as invalids, can't say the difference between pity and compassion... Duo should be *VERY* carefull or he ends up being blamed in inviting Solo to live with him because he just wanted to fuck him.

I just wonder, if such a thing as a gay marrige is legal... or, should I say, "possible"? in the Blue Lightening Universe?

BTW, to answer Duo's question, if Solo's selling himself - definitely *YES*. His guess Stanna brought a *customer* to see him was a total giveaway.

Well... How much time Duo spent with Solo? About 20 minutes, right? Then he turned and walked away. I'd be disappointed, if not for my belief this is the strongest part of this chapter. You wasn't afraid to admit, that, true to be told, Duo and Solo haven't a lot in common now. Yes, they love each other, yes, they have a common past, and yes, they are happy to met again, but it's kinda difficult to imagine, that a terrorist and a Gundam pilot, with all his knowlege about mobile suits, computers and killing, has a lot to discuss with an officiant and a part time prostitute of the "Blue Lightening". By L2 standarts, Duo is far higher on the food chain - unlike the most of the population, he is in the position, where he could use his brains, not his body to earn his living. And I'm afraid, their present is less than helpfull in building the common ground as well.

Just understood, what's bothering me! Is Duo suicidal or something? As far as I know, the mix of painkillers and an alcohol could render a recipient comatose! It's bad enough Duo risked to visit the "Blue Lightening" - a limping person in the dance club is bound to draw a lot of (unwanted) attention, but now he what? Planning to lose consciousness in the middle of the croud?

P. S. Are you going to play with Duo and Solo's role reversal? Or would it be "just like good old times" - with Solo as a leader? P. P. S. Are you sure about the data at the begining of the 3rd chapter? AC 180? Not AC 190?

Oh, my! And here it is - an evil cliffhanger!!!^_^_^ Was it Solo on the stage? Will he recognize Duo right on spot, later, or v-e-ery much later in the fic? Questions, questions... BTW, about Solo's age - correct me, if I'm wrong, but when Duo was just a little kid, Solo (safely assuming the "Blue Lightening" wasn't the club for the pedophiles)should be at least 16 to work as a pole dancer, so, now he is in his middle twenties or even a little older, right? Well, I hope to see the next chapter, preferably, soon, but if you are too busy - take your time, just don't abandon the story - we haven't enough DuoxSolo fics in this fandom. Cheers!
