Interesting fic. So Duo can argue with Death for people's lives. Wonder why Duo doesn't sleep through Death being there. I assume being Shinigami gives him some powers against Death, but it seemed more like Duo present his case, as a judge Death had final say. Though the comment about Death hunting him seemed like it should be explained, because it could be said that Death hunts everyone.

Short but good. A little more detail would really set this off nicely but I really like the plot and the language switch between how Duo addresses Death and then how he talks to Heero is great.
