I never expected to find such a gem among Naruto fanfics here. I was getting increasingly frustrated trying to find a good Sasuke angst fic when I found this, the best Sasuke angst I've ever read. I like your originality in this fic, making Sasuke blind and making him able to summon birds instead of snakes is very metaphorical. But most of all your daring way of describing what happened to him in the sound (which for some reason most authors shy away from.) If you have any time on your hands, any at all, and care about a newly devoted fan of your writing (points at self) please update this fic soon. I would so worship you for that. And thank you for not making Sasuke a daddy (although I think that was meant as a joke, ne?) :) I'm now off to read the rest of your stories. If they are as good and angsty as this one I'm in for a treat.
