Your writing is poetry, I found myself truly swept into the world you have created, I liked how you used the Inuyasha universe to tell this poignant and beautiful tale. The emotions are so powerful and moving, you have made Kagome a strong and endearing heroine, I cannot help but root for her and empathise with her. I really see the development of the character and the growth and journey she goes through. I read this all in one day, and I am left gasping for more. That last chapter was very moving, the line when Kagome said "That my heart was winter and my eyes were ice, and my dance was the hopes of the sunflower searching for the sun in the cold." the comparisons you draw between her father and Inuyasha and that last sentence where they see each other again after two years, its like she has found her sun, and you can see the emotions bloom as recognition dawns on her that she has found her Inuyasha again, I felt the emotion and, wow it was amazing. I really do hope you continue this story, as it has truly touched me, the struggle against adversity and overcoming the odds. |

I really do hope that you plan to continue this story because I am in love with it. I just love the feeling you put into it, you can practically feel all of Kagome's pain. I'm itching to find out what happens next. Unless, that was the ending of the story? I'm really looking forward to the next chapter, hopefully you decide to treat us readers with another. (:

this is such a beautiful story!! if you updated it more often i bet more and more people would read it!! it does remind of memoirs of a geisha alot!! but it still has that element of uniqueness. please keep up the good work:)

That was so sweet! The chapter was wonderfully written and so descriptive I felt the emotions so clearly, and I felt like crying, very posible because I'm sick but it was wonderful. The details of fire and water were nice and overall the update was very sweet and full of emotion.

Actually, up until very recently geisha did have sex with their customers. The higher the class of the geisha the less and more exclusive the sex got, but it was still there. In the last few decades, the geisha culture got a very bad rap as being basically prostitution, and now they claim to have removed all sexual elements from it. But before then there was definitely sex involved.

I'm not sure what it was about the chapter, whether it be the quiet epiphany that Kagome experienced or the sadness that so consumed her but my heart was stirred deeply by this chapter. Wonder job!

Wow! This is so sad and dramatic and beautiful! I can feel the girl's agony and the portrayal of the characters is so realistic. The description the dialogue and the plot is so beautiful, and the use of Japanese is an A+ in my book! I absolutely adore the whole split personality stuff as in that Kikyo and Kagome are the same person just as they kind of should be since they share the SAME soul. Please update soon! I love this fic!

I seem to have found my way to another one of your stories... When I saw Memoirs of a Geisha, I fell in love with it immediately; I was so captivated by her tale and the beauty in which it was told. You truly do have a gift for capturing your reader's interest in much the same way. Your chapters flow together nicely in this piece, it feels as if I am traveling with Kikyo/Kagome through her experiences, as opposed to merely observing them from afar, as I usually do with some of the narrating styles of various authors. I'd love to see exactly where your muse takes you with this story.

Each chapter is magic. You'd think the writing style would get old after a while, but it's poetry! I have a question.. how old is Sango? From her last comment I would assume that she is younger. But during this chapter her personality just felt.. older.
