dang...thats so sad. it just kinda left me feeling empty. its so true though, everyone knows that feeling like youre not good enough at some point in time, ive felt it ALOT! and it totally sucks, the way your writing this i feel like i can identify with her even though ive never been there. again, its very beautiful.

oooh, interesting twist - having the head mistress change Kagome's name to Kikyou. I kinda wondered if Kikyou would make an appearance as a geisha...maybe one with an attitude like Hatsumomo.

very nicely done. i could feel her emotions and worrys, i was almost crying. it was beautiful. about the movie memoirs of a geisha, the only thing i didnt like about it was it was in english with chinese actors. i thought it should have been in japanese subtitled for a bigger impact(even though the author was american) anyways i cant wait to see what happens, in someways i wish you would write longer chapters, but you put everything in the chapters that needs to be said. i just want more!

On the Memoirs aspect - yes, it is a great movie. Thanks for the answers, by the way. It's a rare thing, you know. :) Anyway, yet another wonderful chapter and now I'm curious to know what happened to Kagome's father.

Its like Kagome living Inuyasha's childhood. '...when water is trapped and it has no where to go, it carves a new path for itself from stone and earth...' You've seen Memoirs of a Geisha, ne? Wonderful movie, I think. Chiyou says her mother told her nearly the same thing.

This was nice, a little sad maybe too, but I still liked it. As for putting Japanese words in, I like that as well. I've been trying to learn some on here. So I can keep up with some of the fics out there, and my own curiosity. But I still like this piece. Update when you can.
