Good writing.
I very much agree that Nicholas is one of those "Die on my own terms" people. I also agree with the rarity of rain thing...
A few things though: Chapel the Evergreen was the OTHER Chapel. The red-eyed creepy one.
Also, I can't see Nicholas saying "I must get out of here." "I've got to get out of here." maybe...he's just not proper enough to say 'must' in that context, in my opinion...
Other than that, you did a fine job keeping him in character.... |
