During the first chapter I was a bit uncertain as to whom the monster was: I had thought it was Inuyasha himself. However, now that I realize it's Sesshomaru, I have to wonder whether he's in in character. The story is still terribly interesting, and that mild OOC-ness is my only issue. Best wishes!

There weren't any grammatical or spelling errors that I could see in this first chapter--but then again, I was really too engrossed with the story to concentrate. Despite my minimal knowledge of Inuyasha and the Mermaid Saga, I found this first chapter to be extremely interesting. The story seems to have direction and plot and I think that you've done a great job. Thank you for submitting to FFRG. ==Dee

Well, you sure have been working on this a fair bit I see. The changes I was able to identify were well done. The "attack" scene w/ him going into a half/transformation thing works better, given he rarely goes feral unless he's hurt/about to transform. I can't wait to see what else you've spruced up. ^_^
