I really liked the part where Inuyasha explains the difference between a mate and a wife. I was like Kagome and didn't see a difference, but the way he explained it was done well. Thanks for sharing a great story! :)

The kidnapping and the blood trail were clever. But, Inuyasha's explanation of his choice of Kagome and the difference between a mere wife and a mate was terrific! It was so sweet and profound. And the lemon of course was .....WOW! Great job and I hope to read a lot more of your stories in the future. I really love your style.

It was such a sweet and (I'm a little weird) romantic little one shot. Whoot!! Whoot!! Whoot!!Thank you Literary Goddess!! I really enjoyed how you kept the characters true to the manga. I love the idea of Inuyasha charging in wearing his red clothing and silver hair flying in the wind to save the clever damsel in trouble then kissing her senseless. swoons.... Sorry. Read earlier a story about Inuyasha in setting of King Arthur/ Knights. I liked how Kagome willingly hurt herself to leave a trail for Inuyasha and Thank You for keeping the scenario real by having her drift off occassionally then reopening the wound. Thank you for having Inuyasha accept the truth when Shiipo stated he never learned then used the moment given to start training him. An Awesome job you did. I laughed at the end when Inuyasha made the comment of how was it possible for Sango and Miroku to become intimate with Shippo there. I also really liked how Inuyasha and Kagome finally had the clearing of the air with loving each other. I also chuckled at the comment Inuyasha gave Kagome as he followed the trail. Who else can make an insult into a comment like our favourite dog boy! lol. I also loved how the sweet and pure Miko swore to make Inuyasha proud. chuckles if only he had heard that. Thank you again for sharing this wonderful little stroy with us!! It is a treasure for sure! And the part with the battle against the Slavers I was truly and humbly impressed with the way you handled Kagome. She has accepted the justice system of the Sengoku Jidai even she disapproves. She thought more about the others they would harm if they weren't stopped now. And how she accepted the fierce protection and loyalty and love that Inuyasha holds for her. This story is another example of your wonderful talents and great grasp of the Inuyasha characters!! Thank you again for sharing this story with us and please keep up the most excellent work!! You totally Rock!!! Awesome work!!

You amazed me with your stories!! Lovely One Shot!! I loooooved your characterization of Inuyasha -always!-. You are the few writers I've ever read that do not lower Inuyasha to a brute. I love the way you carry your story and obviously would love the continuation of this. Yeah... I know... It's a one shot... but... I still can ask, ne? Great as always!! Mage

This was really good. It may have been a one-shot, but it was still good. I enjoyed the story line very much.
