YOU ARE WRONG regarding the moment in which this scene could take
place! The coronation of Louis XVI takes place IN 1775,which means
CLEARLY THE FIRST PART OF THE STORY,not "the last few years",as you
said! This means that, according to those "details" that you
mentioned, the scene MUST HAVE TAKEN PLACE IN THE FIRST PART OF THE
STORY and,BY NO MEANS,between episodes 25 and 26.And,by the
way,Oscar's duties are already VERY MUCH INVOLVED WITH POLITICS
BEFORE THE CORONATION OF LOUIS XVI na they don't become "more
involved" after that moment!

I must say I really think you've captured Oscar at a low point really good. It must be so hard for her, not to know if even her own emotions are manly or by default belongs to a woman. She rarely speaks to anyone about topics that might be "womanly" - the only time she said she was sure it was a woman's feelings, it was about having being in love like a woman, felt a woman's love. How was she to know love is felt more or less equal twix the sexes, they just use different methods to show it. Oh... anyhow, I really liked this fiction and I'd love to read more. It's something aldright, not nothing. : )
