I know this story is old, but I really enjoyed it. I haven't come on here in forever, and it's really changed...I'm more of a fanfiction dot net person, and if you are still around, you should post your story up there too. =) I loved the way you accounted for Hayate and Ein being one and the same in DoA 4, because that was kind of messed up how Hayate "pretended" to be Ein...but you explained it very well. And I was so with Ayane, and am glad you included her. Not that your story had any insinuation of romance WHATsoever, but in general, I don't like Hayate/Hitomi pairing. This is no consequence of me LOVING Hayate/Ayane pairings, they just both exist in my mind at once. So I like how this story turned out. And as strongly as I feel about that, I appreciated Hitomi in this fic, and found her likeable. You left the ending so open though, and ah cliffies frustrate me! I understand that it was for a contest piece, but it was really, really good. And I know sequels sometimes ruin things, but if you were ever to continue, I think it would make a killing review-wise at the slightly more populated fanfiction dot net. x3 I'm not an employee, I swear. I would fave this story here, but I dont' come on enough, so I think I'm just going to save this story to my database for future reading, it was awesome. Don't worry, I'm not a story stealer, and the only other place I go is that aforementioned site, which you could easily check me up on, as I am under the same name. :P Take care!
