It has a great amount of potential. I can most certainly see Quatre pursuing a music career after the war. I like the fact that his first attempt at "freedom" is somewhat hindered by that overwhelming feeling of finally being able to be out on his own without the worry of family, friends, and war. It shows a very realistic side of PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder). But it had me wondering how he looked. There wasn't really a detailed description of him. Had he changed the way his hair looks? The way he dressed? The way he carried himself? How about his speech pattern? Many of these things would change, given the type of environment he chose to immerse himself in, especially if he wanted to fit in with the normal crowd (as he most certainly does). The grammar and punctuation could use a little beta-ing (but don't mind that comment -- I'm an English Major and find myself a little more picky than most). :) The characters are portrayed /very/ well and are very in tune to their personalities in the series. I know that Quatre is a hard person to find a pairing for (he doesn't quite seem to fit in with the other pilots, as far as I'm concerned), so it's good to see him with an original character. Speaking of original characters, Ryuichi is simply adorable. He's very distinguishable from the other two. The other two, however, could possibly have a few more defining characteristics of their own. I like when they are first introduced. There is a definite separation of their personalities -- one is the almost-shy type, the other is the tough one -- but there should be more to them. It would be easy to create a voice for each, a certain stance, a style. Overall, an absolutely brilliant story. A very unique plot. The chemistry between the characters is great. Keep up the great writing!
