Wow! I havent read many great Kenshin fics, but this is one of them^^ I'm surprised I haven't read it before. What a great one-shot, definately worth reading more than once!

A rating of 10 is completely inefficient to describe the absolutely beautiful paragon of this one-shot. THIS is true art. Stories which make your chest ache with passion and leaves your soul throbbing with resolution are rare indeed. You have a treasured gift of pen. Arigatou gozaimasu.

Great job! I've been following some of the Inu pieces your writing, so I expected this to be good. I love the softness in this, I think if fits with Kenshin very well. I hope that you have insperation to write for this fandom again.

I forgot to tell you that this one shot actually got me interested in exploring this manga/anime. I had never heard of it (apparently I have been living in a closet or something), but now I'm addicted to it in a most Inuyasha-like manner. Thanks so much. It was a sexy one shot. Kenshin is way too sexy for his own good...sizzle....

I haven't read a Rurouni Kenshin lemon like this in a very long time. I really did enjoy your story. Well written, a bit dragging but not too much. It was well done.

You have now written in two out of my three favorite fandoms. For this being your first RuroKen fic, you did a really good job here! Both Kenshin and Kaoru's feelings are a very accurate representation of that point in the manga and you really made the lemon here believable. I think that this intimacy that they share here helps drive home what happens in the Jinchuu arc. The only thing I saw that doesn't really fit in with the rest of the story is Kaoru wearing her blue hair ribbon during her kata practice. I've only seen her wear it when she's in kimono or yukata. Again, though, fantastic job! One of these days, I plan to sit down and write to you about how "Phoenix Blade" helped me push forward with my writing and how it's renewed my desire to write for Inuyasha. And, if you ever happen to write a Slayers fanfic, I think I'd keel over from happiness. ^_~
