Uh-oh, Shippou, you better run! LOL, wonderful little winter story. I would love to see a companion piece done for this, perhaps where Inuyasha takes her indoors to get them both 'warmed up', but it stands alone quite beautifully as well.

you know sometimes I just want to keep reading and reading where your concerned, and that definitely true for the newest ficlets. I remember how Inuyasha looked in that episode that he first got hit with kaze no kizu. The way you wrote that it was like I was inside his head at that moment, way cool!!! The second one was nice and romantic and I wished that it would go on longer, but I'm with Kagome on that end I still even now after the end can't stand watching Inuyasha and Kikyo together, it makes me want to cry or something. I hope to read more of the Price soon, or anything else for that matter so until next time, Feed your muses plenty of ramen!!

once-- he called her a 'shard detector' once--at the beginning of their quest, when they first met miroku-- after suffering the resulting threat for groping, then asking kagome to bear his child, miroku assumed that inuyasha had fallen in love with the fair kagome. inuyasha had bristled and exclaimed that he was only using her as a shard detector. -and that was the only 'shard detector' comment. why people have her zone in on only that i will never know. -- i'm assuming that you meant it as a little tongue in cheek jab on the cliche. ♣ actually, his claim that she was worthy of having a job description was something of a big compliment as most common people weren't given such dignity (he may have been bragging about her role) see: 2.gol.com/users/friedman/writings/p1.html --it's a great article. ♦ i loved the interaction and his reasonings proving exactly who he would choose when the time came. --sorry about the rant.-- i agree- a hellava lot less 'sits'!! *\o/* ~delighted! ♥

Love it. Of course, Inuyasha actually tries to reason with her and has more sense once he's human. It was interesting to see in the IY Profiles that his intelligence goes up while he is human and I think you showed that very well in this piece. Inuyasha being logical, who would have thought? :-P

Totally loving chapter 20! The conversation they should have had, indeed. Hey, there are a lot of blank spots in the manga where time skips forward a bit, and Kagome did stop "bein' a bitch about Kikyou", so maybe they really did have this conversation somewhere along the way, and Rumiko just forgot to let us know about it. Lucky for us you were there eavesdropping to write everything down!

i thought it was sweet-- i don't really think that kagome is really asleep because only babies and little kids can be jostled around like that without waking up even a little bit. i'm thinking that she may not have noticed completely when she started falling onto his lap, but she sure as heck would have noticed when he moved her. --she has a little brother who may or may not have pranked her while she was asleep. what little kid finds some scissors and decides he wants to cut something-- like the hair of his sleeping sibling? *chuckles* ♥
