"Great White Hunter: Keitaro" Reviews/Comments [ 5 ] | Title: hey now Reviewed By: anon2 On: December 27, 2006 14:47 CST Rating(s):Style of Writing: 10 of 10 Spelling & Grammar: 10 of 10 Originality/Creativity: 8 of 10 Enjoyment Factor: 9 of 10 Overall Rating: 9 of 10 Comment/Review: You never needed to explain your choices. This is a fanfic, after all and not canon. I agree with you wholeheartedly in every regard, but there seems to be a puzzling trend in that characters like Naru (Asuka from NGE, and Sakura from Naruto, for example), despite being very popular in Japan are almost unanimously hated in the West. The thing about Naru that really pisses me off aside from the abuse and all that is the simple fact that she never loved Keitaro. She loved Seta, and only became more interested in Keitaro the more like Seta he became, and even Kei himself sees this, shes denies it. Read the manga, and you'll see that she never stops comparing the two. Keitaro becoming a perfect clone of Seta is what it took for her to admit any kind of feelings for him, while every other girl loved him for being Keitaro, not Seta. All things considered, you gave her a much more merciful role in your story than she deserved.

Overall, an entertaining read, though some areas and transition are a bit rough and/or sketchy. It should be interesting to see where this goes. I'm looking forward to the next chapter.
