Poor Inuyasha! It's sad, but it's good that Mrs. Higurashi was there for him, to lend him a comforting ear and a shoulder to "cry" on. Inu has had such a difficult, lonely life, it's so nice that Kagome's mom could comfort him during a painful time. Nice tie-in to the manga. We probably wouldn't really see the immediate after-effects of Kikyou's death, after the initial shock wears off. Do I sense a possible Inuyasha/Mrs. Higurashi relationship developing? hehehehehehehehehe!!!! >:D

How tender. Just like any other that keeps grief hidden, InuYasha has to be safe before he can allow himself to feel. This was just a very touching story, and when he rubbed his nose with the back of his hand, you had me.

You did a great job on that fic!! I loved how it was Mrs.Higrashie conforting inuyasha insted of kagome or someone else. Your story made me cry! It also made me realize how hard inuyasha's life really was back then. Anyways great job on the fic and please continue to write inuyasha stories.

2 thumbs up! Glad to see another story explore Inuyasha's tragic past and show that monsters are not born they are created. Not that Inuyasha is a monster he is just a puppy that has been kicked to many times.

Not much to say, but WOW! You really get the feeling of a mother trying her hardest to console a person who doesn't believe he needs consolation perfectly. And Inuyasha? Another awesome characterization of that tough-as-nails teenager that had to grow up entirely too fast. Love your work...don't stop anytime soon.

This is wonderful. Yes, it is sad - but it isn't depressing. I tend to think that sometimes Inuyasha is just a scared, crying little boy inside who has been hurt once too often and needs someone like Higurashi-san to cry on. This is beautifully written, too.

Aw...first fanfic I've seen with Inuyasha's possible reaction to Kikyou's death. You did a really good job on it, and it wasn't so much sad as hopeful I think. Thank you for writing it ;)
